I actually disagree. Give me Timeless Treasures, Titanium, Essentials, Gala over Prizm every single day of the week. Aesthetically these are way better to me. No idea why Prizm (especially silvers) is so overpriced.

I tried to look into getting a De'Aaron Fox silver just to see one in hand and see what the hype is about, but no way with the inevitable market manipulation going on. Raw Fox Silvers jumped in a month from ~$40 to now $70. BGS 9.5 from $80-100 to now $130 and PSA 10s from $100 to now $170. PSA 9s from $30-35 to now $60-70 In a month that has included the playoffs and Fox not even playing a single game. Can't even fathom those increases.

There were so many more attractive cards in the early 2010s when these sets were being released. Maybe not every part of the set was a hit, but there were some great inserts and designs in these sets. So I'm happy to keep picking up these garbage cards that look better than the overpriced Prizms everyone keeps hyping up :)!

I don't get the hate on this. Putting the best thing about a discontinued shitty product, then doing it again with 5-6 more and make them all in one set is a great idea.

The problem is the execution. Adding Crusades is awesome. But if you are going to add Essentials, why not Rock the Rim and License to Dominate? And of all the Vanguard auto sets, that's the one you choose? Who actively collects Marquee or Titanium RCs? And for f sake, WHY CAN'T THEY PUT SOMETHING FROM STUDIO?

At least they got rid of some stuff from last year that didn't make a lot of sense and made it better. But I was hoping for something more.

I'm assuming sticker autos for the lesser players and on-card autos for the stars/legends. The Barkley Timeless ink and Durant V-Team's looked like they were on-card from the mock but we know that doesn't mean anything; Steph Curry has been in mocks for autos lately and hasn't been in products.

Also letting people know that there are Chronicles Retail Blasters, Fat Packs and Hangers.

Basically all Retail stuff has the Red Unnumbered Autos and each have the below:

Blasters have the Rookies & Stars Cards and Pink Parallels
Fat Packs have Score Cards and Bronze Parallels
Hangers have Classics Cards and Green Parallels

I also see stuff about Opti-Chrome and Holo cards but not sure if those are retail only or in hobby as well.

All the points is a drawback, but all the numbered subsets enhance box value to negate that overall. Definitely was nudged into the Anthology direction Panini used with hockey in 13/14.

I saw your Trae on the IG and this came outta nowhere for me since I've been only chasing baseball lately. Going to go grab some retail though, I'm excited. The $120 initial retail boxes are gone everywhere. This product is insane. It’s basically a 35 player rookie base set. The volume will drive down pricing some but still...Lukas are Lukas. Never seen a product like it before. Will be an interesting case study to watch card values.

Pretty fun, but I didn't get like any of the big name rookies. I got 1 Luka Playoff card, 1 Bagley Playoff card and no Trae Youngs. Oh well, always nice to pull a 1/1. The variety was nice in the break too. My autos were Robert Parish and an RPA /25 of Khyri Thomas.

This is a really fun product. Opened 4 boxes the last 2 days at a great price ($109). Lots of all the top rookies, a couple of gold on card autos (Jokic and Bamba) and even a Gala (Brunson). I’d love to know the odds on the Gala cards. Not many have shown up yet.

I've opened eight boxes thus far from two separate cases.
ZERO Galas for me. Zero Vanguard base as well.

I'm assuming Galas are around a 10-15% chance out of a case. This stuff seems super short printed so there might not even be close to 2800 cases that would make it at 10%.

I disagree, the variety is what makes this set fun especially for busting. I wish they had added an extra rare set of something that had superstars/legends in it.

I loved Marquee. But Marquee had 5 different RCs and the rookies checklist was quite big, total of around 500+ cards.

Chronicles has more than 20 different ones. With parallels for most of them.

I did the math using autos last night on Hobby and I believe there are only 1500 cases or so of this stuff, my math got to 1499.75. This stuff is very scarce and I think could be a great flip down the road if one of these RC's is an MVP level player.

I do like the stuff and if there is a limited print run of these boxes then it could be a sleeper hit product. Its not the best product to buy in a break considering how rookie heavy it is.


Some cases have been absolutely loaded though. I saw a break at Layton where they had multiple gold pulled including an Anthony Davis auto, 3 1/1s, and a Gala rookie all out of one case.

I just busted 5 boxes of this stuff. It’s a ton of fun. The base cards have a nice design. Reminds me of the base cards from 2017-18 Encased. Tons of variations and lots of top rookies throughout and hit multiple on-card autos. Got a nice Rodman Vanguard auto but unfortunately the auto is a mess. All streaky and smudged.

So, I think I've opened 9 boxes now. And got in on a group break last night with Suns, Knicks, and Kings. Between those 21 boxes and about 12 I've watched opened at my LCS I've seen ZERO Galas.

Walked into my LCS today to get some supplies, especially thicker sleeves and top-loaders for all of these cards. One last box on the shelf, so I have to take it...cannot leave one sitting there.

Talking to one of the guys that runs that shop, asking if he's seen an Galas in all of the cases they have seen opened in the store and he confirmed they hadn't. I then pick up the next pack ... and proceed to pull a Korucs Gala 3/8.

I would never say your calculations are wrong, but if this is true where are all the Galas? That would put them at about 1 in 6 cases, but I’ve only seen or heard of 7 so far. Everybody holding or has not much of this been broken? Seems very popular at this stage, so I’d think more would have come out by now.

Gala rookies numbered to 8 are a huge chase in this. Also have low serial numbered rookies like Titanium..Vanguard..gold parallels and autos

The luka on-card autos were redemptions but I believe his sticker autos were live.

I opened one box of this right before prices jumped above $200, and I hit a Luka origins auto redemption AND a Luka essentials gold parallel/10.

Incredible box.

There is also some good Trae Young stuff in this product as well.

As with all wax, it's a gamble, and most of the time you will get like $100 worth of cards back or less.

If you are getting the box, is not to rip. At 750, you are probably looking for a SSP Luka or a SSSP of Trae to break even. And that's a big if.
