Who do I consign to? Who are the good guys?

Curious if we can find and promote (however small) a few honest consignors on eBay for those of us that would not care to have PWCC sell our wares. Anyone know of a straight shooter? There seems to be a needed vacancy.

There are honest auction houses that do a handful of auctions a year but who are the good guys on eBay that you can send your stuff to at any time and see results in a few weeks?

(for the sake of the conversation I'm leaving Probstein out of this as I never wanted to deal with them either)

Yeah, I messed up on the title of the thread. I'm not looking to consign anything right now. I just thought I would start the conversation so that people would have an alternative to go to.

I figured if we all shout "down with PWCC!" we ought to have a few options to replace them.

Not sure if they can handle large volume or not. I've only bought from them a couple times but I see them selling sports cards all the time. Just not ones I ever want. Evolution Sports Marketing. I will also go along with gregmorris for raw vintage. I'm not into vintage too much but they seem to get a premium for the cards or at least more then I'm ever willing to pay.

I'll assume he just does it on the side, so that leads to wonder can he do a larger volume or even want to. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I search ebay a lot and just never came across his name other then here.

And yes we can handle volume. We hired someone a few months ago and have been ramping it up. Currently we run 500 or so (personal / consignment) per week and have room to grow they as well.

Thon has nothing to do with how we handle consignments.

I've done really well consigning NM & centered raw pre-1980 cards to gregmorris. Rates are higher than most but his premiums made it worth it. Not sure of their current rates. The guy I dealt with has left the company. Anyway they listed everything super fast and paid a good chunk of it within 2 weeks and paid the rest a few weeks later.

You just have to be selective about what you send to get the most out of it.
