(3) Packs of 2010 Bowman Platinum - Trout Auto

Picked up some supplies from my LCS today and had the itch to bust some wax. Since I purchased a case of Sterling last week, I decided to take it easy and just do a couple packs. I picked out three packs from a freshly opened box and pulled the following:

- Mike Trout Ref Auto :flex: (Card is flawless IMO)
- Jason Heyward RC
- Vladimir Guerrero Ref 30/999

I was surprised at how well the Trout sells. Most recent completed eBay auction was $56.

So far in a box and 3 packs of 2010 Platinum I have pulled the following:

- Maggi USA 2-Color Patch Auto /10
- Sano Ref Auto
- Polythree Ref Auto
- Trout Ref Auto

I'd say I'm doing pretty well! :)! Trout is for sale for those interested.

Magic touch, haha. I don't pack search or feel packs. I don't care that much to do it and I don't think my LCS would allow it.

Haha thank you for the back-up here guys. I don't know how to pack search for autos in any product to be honest. They are the same dimensions and weight as any other base card, correct?

I'm bugged by the notion that someone thinks I pack searched. Or if it was meant to be sarcastic, it definitely didn't come off as such.

i usually play devils advocate to these posts (the bad guy :-) ) though I dont really care whether you packed searched or not that kid Andrew makes no sense at all

3 packs = 1 auto...thats amazing odds for pack searching....If someone could find a way to pack search and get 1 auto every 3 packs...how could you say its a failure LOL...use your head or dont post at all

How many 35 year olds do you refer to as kids? I assume you were using your head when you made your post, right?

The odds of getting an auto in Bowman Platinum is 1:6 packs. Thus, the OP had a 50% chance of getting an auto by buying 3 packs. The fact that he hit one auto in 3 packs is not evidence that he pack searched and anyone suggesting otherwise is a fool. That's why I called out the poster who suggested that the OP was pack searching for no good reason. The OP doesn't deserve to have his integrity questioned solely because he came out on the right side of a 50/50 proposition.
