Hey guys,

I was hoping someone could give me a run down on what exactly all these terms for insert cards really mean. I just got back into the hobby a couple years ago and am into collecting mainly auto cards but now when i look on ebay and beckett i see tons of terms for cards like xfractor vs. superfractor and i have no idea what the difference is. Could someone give me a simple explanation of what these mean (or any others you think are relevant).

Patch- is that just a number/logo/name part of a jersey?
2 CLR- is that just the number of the differnt colors on the jersey?
Refractor
Xractor
Superfractor
Swatch

Thanks guys. hope i dont seem to be too much of a nub rook

Your Patch and 2 CLR is right..
Refractor- the card has a gloss/shinnyness to it
Xfractor- just a variation of a refractor
Superfractor- Holy grail refractor variation, serial numbered 1/1
Swatch- usually refers to a larger jersey piece

hope this helps!
