I won an 1100 card on ebay today. Right at market so no issue with that. When I went to pay I noticed there is a $40 S&H charge. It was there when I bid, just didnt look. Thats on me but boy that burns my butt!

I went to a casino and lost $40 in 10 minutes playing slots.

$40 is rough, but at least the seller didn't make up the shipping cost after the auction ended. Hopefully there will be some cards of value.

Sellers cannot make up the shipping cost after the fact. If they do they are in violation of Ebay rules and need to be reported.

THat said 40.00 on an 1100 card might not be far off depending on how it is shipped. For me it would be express mail with insurance. That would be close to 40.00.

Yup. If you spent a grand on the card, I suppose it’s better to be on the safe side with shipping.
