Last Friday I accepted a $50 best offer on a $60 item. Buyer did not pay immediately which is not out of the ordinary.
Sometime that weekend I used send invoice as a reminder to pay, then messaged him on Tuesday asking him for payment.
Silence.
On Wednesday I opened a non-paying buyer case, which can be closed 4 days later. The due date is tonight in about an hour.
I just got an email 10 minutes ago from PayPal that I've been sent the money, but it's on hold and the transaction is under "PayPal Payment Review"
This whole thing is setting off alarm bells, and I DO NOT want to sell to this guy, but also don't want to get a neg or something.
What would you do in this situation?
