Another year same story. Now they have AB and Gronk will come back sometime late in the season with enough time to get in game/playoff shape.
AB, Josh Gordon, Demaryius Thomas, Edelman. Best WR Corp in the NFL.
Ps I hope this is a jinx too lol

Didn't even notice but yeah haha when becoming a new Mr. 3000 got to make it big right?!?!

Yeah except Tom/Bill have already figured out a way to clone Tom's brain to install in Stidham's body

Just heard about AB while watching the Red Sox.
Im surprised.. hes a walking, talking soap opera.
That said, we have successfully taken in divas and problem players before and turned them into successful players.
We'll see..

Yeah, but how long before AB does something stupid like posts the Patriot playbook on Instagram or records a secretive conversation between Bellicheck and the Devil?

AB and his agent had this all planned. It’s why he was doing all that stuff. Just funny at this point.

Not sure how this isn't more obvious to people. AB is still a headcase. But he clearly added to it to get released.

That's a veeeeeery tough argument because it's hard seeing someone turn down another 14-15 million (ABs 2019 signing bonus). Not saying you are wrong at all since its all nonsense and possible but 15 million possibly in 2019 compared to nearly 30 is a giant difference.

Good for AB, from a huge tire fire to the machine the fires on all cylinders. Gruden is quite the disaster, good luck Vegas

I dont think there were any backdoor conversations. He just lost 15 mill bucks because of his antics, but with half his original salary, he gets to play with the goat and on the best team in the league with an immediate chance for a ring.
That 15 mill most definitely comes with conditions that the first time he goes diva, hes gone.
That said, i do believe the Patriots offense just went to plaid.

Very obvious now. At first I wondered what AB was doing but it all made sense as soon as he was snatched up. Guess the Steelers weren’t willing to trade AB to the Pats with opening night and being rivals. Pats probably offered more than the Raiders.

Why so worried? There are so many things that can go wrong for them: Brady gets badly hurt or broken, Edelman gets busted again for PED's or hurt, Brown continues to be off the rails or hurt, their defense is average or worse. Gronk enjoys his retirement and doesn't come back. Who knows?
It's simply a possible continuation of their dominance. So be it. Every dynasty ends and when it does, their fans will hear about it at that time. Until then, let it play out.
P.S. I posted my prediction yesterday that he was going to the Pats.

Oh man that will be interesting to see how Stidham develops. When he played against my Huskies last year and the all NFL DBs now, Stidham sucked. He was not good. But learning from Brady could really excel his ability.
I still personally think Easton Stick will be the best QB from the class, as I think his skills are already good as a passer, but learning from another pro like Rivers will be perfect. Rivers isn't Brady, but he is one of the best professional QBs of recent time.

Instead of 30 mil for 2 years he gets 15 mil for one year and gets to catch Brady. Could easily get the other half of that 30 mil next year too so nothing lost, potentially, and only gained IMO.

Eh. I think his best financial route is hoping he can stay level headed enough to stick with the patriots this season while the team is successful...and get resigned.
I think he really hurt his financial prospects with other teams with his shenanigans (premeditated or not), and the racial slurs certainly weren't a great power move.

If he produces big numbers again. No one will care and he’ll get paid. Tyreek just got paid.

I think Tyreek was a case of:
1) he evaded league punishment due to legal loopholes: Chiefs can claim he was innocent until proven guilty
2) his wasn't a case of being a bad teammate or a locker room cancer
3) the same team decided to stick with him (chiefs)
Which is why Antonio's best case scenario would be if the Pats resign him, assuming he'll make it the year and they're still interested.
There may be other teams willing to take a flyer, but the list is short at his price tag. Patriots are one of the few franchises with enough expendable income and confidence in their current regime to win a bowl without him. It's an easier risk.
We saw what happened to Dez. Yes, AB is extremely talented, but after a certain point your options will run out if you're proven a nutjob that's detrimental to locker room chemistry.

Like I said, Patriots are probably the only team in the league that have that sort of expendable income and the confidence in their current personnel to win it all even if the 1 year experiment doesn't pan out.
They cut him week 3 and we all know they're still SB favorites, whether people want to admit it or not.

Brady throws 60 TD’s this year? Haha the rich get richer, most dominating run ever, no other dynasty had to deal with a salary cap, social media, and free agency. Prove me wrong.
Belichick playing chess while the rest of the NFL plays checkers. Notice when he signs these douche bags they are for relatively short money and short term. Ruthless. Imagine when/if Gronkowski comes back?

I think most players would give up 15 million for a Super Bowl ring. Money comes and goes but being a champion is forever. He can make that money up if he hadn't already. Look at Bell. He sat out a year, money don't mean much to these guys.
