I’m as big of a Brady collector as you’ll find, and I wouldn’t pay more than $200-$300 for it. Cool card, but there’s just too many 1/1’s nowadays.

“Expert” i.e. blowout opinions are about 40% less than what something would actually go for.

A 1/1 of the goat. Yeah take it and run because I’m sure a 1/1 Tom Brady card, albeit an insert, will lose value or interest over time.

I’m sure the guy whose buddy told him sell the 2009 Lebron James Superfractor for 3k back in 2010 is glad he did.

Hypothetical bron situation and if you need to because it’s an insert, sub in...hell idk some black 2013 prizm insert?

I’m working on a deal now and the card should be sold shortly.

I get. But I think King knows his stuff....based on his post history. It's a 1/1 of Brady. Obviously it's difficult to make a definitive value assessment since it's a 1/1...all you can do is make comparisons based on other 1/1's with similar characteristics. I think he did that.

In the end, it really only takes one buyer. But we've seen greed kick many a person when they hold out too long thinking there's more meat on the bone. Not saying it'll happen here, but you also run the risk of turning off a legit buyer and finding his 'max bid' without even knowing it.

I didn’t mean $300 was the ceiling for what you could get for it. That was just what I would feel comfortable paying. However, I’d be ecstatic if someone offered me $1k for it. That’s all I was saying.

Edit: See you said have it listed elsewhere too. I'd go off eBay if I were you, as picture you posted on here shows corners better than eBay pic and wouldn't want to deal with that return on buyers remorse.

I think $300-$400 is about right for a 1/1 insert. The design
doesn't stand out like a gold vinyl or superfractor. Prizm FB isn't like Prizm BKB. If you have an $800-$1K offer, take it.

The 2018 optic gold vinyl base 1/1 sold for 937.00 at auction. That would be your absolute ceiling and honestly if you can even get close to that take the money and run. Your card definitely wouldn’t have the same kind of chase as this one.

A 1/1 from contenders optic sold for $275. It was an insert with trey flowers on it as well. That’s probably your ground level for value. The card you have is definitely most desirable than this one.

Plenty of other 1/1’s sold in the $300-500 range. Your card probably fall in this range. If you get anything north of $500 I don’t know if I would hold out

If you are looking to flip it quick, I'd accept any $400-$500 offer raw. If you choose to grade it, and it comes up as a PSA 10 or BGS 9.5, I'd think it should be worth $500-$600.

It's not a rookie or one of the most collected sets.

Be happy with your hit. We often overvalue cards we hit. Truest way to determine its value is a 5 day auction starting at $0.99.

I can't tell if you sold it already but nothing wrong with waiting. I think most collectors - including myself - would consider up to $500 for it to be fair... but it only takes that one guy going for a rainbow that you can get top dollar from. As a collector, I've overpaid on more than one occasion for that card I had to have. Good luck with the sale. Believe me, I hope you get a lot for it.

If you turned down 1000, you effectively have 1000 in the card. Doesn't matter if you got it in a box or pack.
