So I was flipping through some OPC Platinum from 18-19 and while reading the back of some cards I noticed Sam Steel shares my birthday. Always fun when you share a birthday with a pro athlete so I have picked up a few cards of his on the cheap and debating some additional when some better stuff hits.

Curious what the folks here think of his actual potential and if I should keep grabbing cheap before they either explode or wait til they drop further if he is gonna stink it up

Hard to say. I think most players who do end up being any good in Anaheim still generate very little hobby interest. Look at Ryan Getzlaf. He's had a great career and has near zero hobby interest. Imagine if Teemu Selanne was on any other team.

Yeah the ducks are a value wasteland. At least he isn’t in Carolina:)

As long as we are on Anaheim, if I had to invest it would be in Troy Terry.
