Was going to post something about it being another week without a loss for Jimmy, but don't want to be responsible for him getting injured in practice. Someone has to win that MNF game, hopefully Mason has a solid game.

Guarantee we will not see another 13 to 10 score when the cowboys and saints play this year. Well maybe 10 for the saints and 30+ for the cowboys.
Just some fighting words to start the hype.

It's going to be a defensive battle.
Mainly because neither team has an offense.

Probably right. Fichtner is just not very creative, highly predictable and doesn't change his game plan. Thress games into this season and he has been atrocious.

I'd like to be positive about the Browns. They really didn't have any injuries last week so a few guys should be back. They need Rashard Higgins back, but I'm not sure if that's happening.
I'm sure it will be painful to watch.

I wonder if OBJ had a choice if he'd rather have Baker Baker turnover maker or Danny Dimes as his QB.
I bet at this point of the season, the latter.

Packers over Eagles
Falcons over Titans
Bills over Patriots
Chiefs over Lions
Colts over Raiders
Dolphins over Chargers
(An upset here followed by the Redskins giving Haskins his first start next week equals the only Dolphins win streak of the season.)
Giants over Redskins
Ravens over Browns
Texans over Panthers
Rams over Bucs
Cardinals over Seahawks
Bears over Vikings
Jags over Broncos
Cowboys over Saints
Steelers over Bengals

Browns defense can handle Lamar. It was a close game last year and the defense wasn't as good. Browns just need to score points. Hopefully the loss to the Rams woke up Freddie and gets things going.

If they can actually limit the stupid mistakes against KC at home they have a chance. SOL logic suggests they beat KC and lose to the next terrible opponent they play.

Negative - wear the uniforms from the 1980s/1990s that Barry actually wore. Big bold arm stripes - with the white trim. The current Thanksgiving ones look like low-grade HS practice uniforms. Barely one step above a Color Rush nightmare all-gray disaster.

Plenty of qb's have come in and set the league on fire their first full year. Maybe not win the MVP but that's semantics. The main point is that 1 year is not a large sample size.
And there is no way I'm putting him in the same class as those other 3 just based off ~20 games. That's foolish; but it's also how the 'hobby' thinks.
If he stays healthy this year and manages to repeat his first year numbers then he will inevitably probably sign the largest contract in history because he's due for renegotiations.

Wentz was arguably the leading MVP candidate before injuries severely derailed his career.
Dak was 13-3 as a rookie with a 29-4 td:int ratio before he experienced his sophomore slump. Then subsequently came back and is now a top mvp candidate.
It's easy for someone to say Mahomes deserves his contract based off 1.2 years of service...because the sample size is so small and you're armed with the knowledge of hindsight with those other 2 players. When both Dak and Wentz were the Mahomes' of the league before Mahomes.
It's just that nobody wants to remember things past a 12 month window.
Not even sure why we're debating this since nothing of what we're saying is changing the fact that they're all going to get paid. And I commend them on that.

I disagree with pretty much everything you say, at least 90%, but I have no choice but to agree with this. Malcolm Jenkins aside, the Eagles have had the worst tackling secondary in the league for years. Add on the fact that some of them aren’t even fast and none of them can catch and, yeah, it’s been totally abysmal. Atleast Sendejo shows some promise.
