Last night, I opened a box of 2010 Playoff Contenders, and one of the auto's

I got was a Jeremy Williams auto. My question is, has anyone else pulled a

Jeremy Williams auto? (I think it is card #148) I am just asking because I

have been looking at the other Contenders posts and on ebay, but have yet

to see the card to try and get a price for it. Thank you!

If it IS rare (which it seems to be), it will sell based upon "Contenders SSP" and not based at all upon Williams collectors.

I'd say 400 OBO and see who jumps at what. It may be the last one to be listed. Are there any others that have not shown up yet ?

By the way, what team // position. I'm too lazy to google.

cromartie,word of advice.wait to see what else pops up as you actually may be able to sell that no name rfa for a pretty penny.patience can pay off with this set seriously though.have you seen the no namer from 09 contenders recent sales.its #d /30 and a set builder just payed like 400 for it so actually,if it pans out,you could get a pretty penny for it!

I think I recall reading somewhere that this was the only rookie ticket not posted to the bay yet. I wouldn't laugh at the $400 -- this stuff is hot and all the hardcore set collectors (and there are several) know who the ssp's are already. I'm just not certain if you'd make more selling now or holding, but I'd be willing to bet you'll get some very nice offers if you put it up for a huge BIN/BO today.

Yeah, Aaron Kelly was selling for a ton last year, I wouldnt lol at 400 one bit

I am still laughing from this morning.

When the print runs were released last year, everyone was shocked that Aaron Kelly was so low being an SSP at just 21. One sold for $1,000 right after that.

I have no idea what Williams could be SP'd to, but he could be similar to Kelly last year.

And in 2008 the SSP was Jed Collins (SP to just 30).

Contenders always seems to SSP some lesser known player, and in turn, that card sells for hundreds.

for 150 3 days ago

2-3 have popped up in last few days

but there has been 4000 autos listed or sold..

If there are none on ebay or completed

he might get 300-400 for it

yea i thought that card could have been the ssp but seems after yours sold a few more popped up. two more sold about 50.00 less so pretty cool that you had the first one on ebay... really paid off

Williams was drafted by the chargers and released and then signed by the eagles. so unless there is a huge following for him and there ends up being only a handful of the cards then I think 1k is a pipe dream.

An auto because you can't make the set with the printing plates. Also, printing plates are complete crap IMO and I hate that they continue to insert them in packs. You'd have to pull a Strasburg plate to make over $100 these days.

Irons stamped no auto still sells for over $100 and it was SPed to 50. His magic card will also sell for a whole bunch since it is SPed to 20.
