great pickup!

I wish it was mine. I found it looking for comp sales for the one I have.

do we know if this sale was completed or not? would not be surprised if the seller canceled the sale.

Wouldn't be surprised either, but would be a dick move by the seller.
So many members jump all over buyers for bailing on deals and leaving sellers hanging- it should work both ways......

so a seller should just take a hundred dollar hit because he misplaced a decimal and didn’t correct the error in time? would you just go ahead with the sale if you were the seller? the buyer would be upset sure, but they were clearly trying to pull one over on the seller too.

if you see a TV at best buy for $39.99 instead of $3999, they wouldn’t sell it to you and the dick move is by the buyer thinking he deserves a tv for 40 bucks. the dude made a mistake, sheesh.

No idea if it was fully completed. It very well could have been that the seller dabbled in hockey and didn’t know what he had. Judging by how many hockey items versus other sports they have I would say this is probably more the case than a typo.

This was my “steal” over the weekend. Not cards but if the price is marked I have no issue taking advantage of the price. I bought 12 and left some on the shelf.

If the seller said it was an accident before it shipped, I wouldn’t be happy but I would get over it and move on.

No it wouldnt, mistakes happen. Everyone knows he didnt intend to list the card for $19.99.

Sellers can only file a non paying bidder claim, which is mandatory to get their fees back from ebay.

Buyers on the other hand, are able to leave negative feedback if the seller wishes to cancel a transaction.

Shouldnt it work both ways? Seems like as per usual, the buyer gets the upper hand

I bought a Patrick Roy card the one day when I saw it was a $100+ card listed for the wrong amount.

I contacted the seller immediately that I only bought it so that no one else would try to stick it to them.

He thanked me and cancelled the transaction which I was happy to agree with.

Everyone complains about price gouging when it comes to hard to find singles that no one really collects any more yet no one complains about people taking advantage of someone's honest mistake.

Wouldn't be surprised if the transaction isn't completed. Mistakes happen with listings sometimes.

Nice catch by the buyer to swoop it and win it really fast for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't go through.
