So I have been watching some of Phil Hughes card breaks and stumbled upon a few Pokemon breaks, which got me thinking how fun it would be to open up some Pokemon packs for the heck of it. Well, I found myself at the Dollar Tree and low and behold, there are some Pokemon packs! I figured, what the heck, I have spent a worse $15 before.
Now, I am pretty unfamiliar with current Pokemon cards. I did a tiny bit of research and know a tiny bit from Phil Hughes breaks, so I know that shiny cards means "good". I know that GX is typically what you want and that reverse foils aren't worth much. But I think I did pretty solid overall.
Here is what I pulled (along with three other reverse foils). I think I did pretty good overall for being $1/pack!
MegaSableye & Tyranitar Tag Team GX
Heatran Full Art GX
Pikachu Reverse Foil
Eelektross Holo

Even being relatively clueless, this was definitely a blast from the past! I think I will for sure grab some more packs, whether it be from Walmart or Dollar Tree just because of how nostalgic and fun it was!
