Exactly what I was thinking. If they go near the Barry price you’re asking someone to shell out 60K if they’re putting together a set.

This one of my favorite cards ever the green METAL..... Wish they would do this with lamelo ball :D

That Favre with the green jersey is a thing of beauty. Not even a favre fan or anything, but I love when the color scheme matches.

Will the Favre hit 30k? Absolutely nuts how these have skyrocketed. Got the Eddie George for $1200 a month ago. Im sure glad hes my PC not Sanders or Favre! Anyone else land cheaper greens for their PC of less relevant players lately?

Glad I sold my Steve Young for $600. Granted that was 6 years ago and actually a good price for me to sell it at. I won’t mention the basketball PMG greens I sold around the same time as the Steve Young.

I got my Ricky Watters BGS 9 green for $192 about 2 years ago.

Picked up my Harrison PMG Green back in July at a really good price IMO. Especially for the first one stamped (01/15). I paid a hand full of Benjamins less than what you paid for your George. I was prepared to go higher if needed. It (and my 96’ Select Certified Rookie Mirror Red Premium Stock /20) were #1 and #2 on my want list when I first started my Harrison 90’s PC. I can safely check them both off now, as they are the centerpieces of my collection.

Now I enjoy helping/watching others track down PMG Greens for their collections. Just a great and iconic set to monitor in the hobby.

Greg, I was thinking the exact same thing earlier. Arguably the greatest TE of all time. I could only imagine what it would go for. Would be fun to watch.

Ok, I’m completely unaware of this so somebody school me. Are the green streaks, arms, hands, etc part of the design, a random result of the production process, or a flaw?

Deeply regretful I didn’t shell out for the McNair that was up earlier this year

Settled for Frank Wycheck which is at PSA and I feel like has an outside shot at a 9

Glad to see 90's football getting some hobby love finally!

And this is why I don't go by past sales on rare cards - ever. I wonder what the boards reaction would have been had the Sanders been listed on here for $20k? People on here would have had a hemorrhage and posted comps from 10 years ago lol.

I laugh at people that won't pay my asking price on something stupid rare, stating one or two over the last who knows how many years sold for a little less. I couldn't care less what previous sales say. Well I hope you find one at that price years down the road :) Congrats on being cheap at the worse possible time :D


Now is the worst possible time to bid on any of these. A few years back you could have them at a fraction of what they're going to sell for now. Some people invested in these at the right time years ago or bought for their PC's when they could. Ship has sailed on that unless you're willing to pay thousands.
