I busted two boxes of these; difficult to get the value back. I think I got 1 Giannis per box, although in one I got VERY lucky and hit a gold Giannis. Even selling both of those raw, I didn't get the box value back. Pretty sure you have to hit a Giannis auto to make any money at $100 per. Fun break, but you'll get about 30% ROI in my experience

Glad I picked up an Aficionado box earlier. It was $29.95 and it looks like they raised the price to $39.95 now.

Anybody have any experience with Grand Reserve? I like the Cornerstones quad patch auto inserts, but I don't know if that justifies $119.95 for a box.

It’s a fun break. And 30% ROI is probably better than the average break (also, basically a guaranteed 30% ROI if what you said about 1 Giannis per box is true). I’ve spent more on many other Panini products and still netted less (some even less than $30 in value).

For me, I bought to have a fun, cheap break. Also hit a AP Giannis in my last 2013-14 Hoops Jumbo box, and although not expecting it, trying to pull it again since I sold it last time haha.

Yeah I just went and looked at the checklist and it looks pretty bleh. I have the KD patch auto /25 that I bought as a single and I really like that card, but it's still probably not really worth it even at this price.

Oh how I miss the good old days. I remember back in 2016 (leading up to 2017) around BF/Christmas, BO had a bunch of sales for $17.17. This was one of them. Unfortunately it was a limit of 2 boxes. I’m sure a bunch of us got our money’s worth from that.

This thread reminded me about the fact I have two Giannis hoops rookies that I got from blowout on a black friday deal. I don't really remember the price, but yea, they were jumbo boxes and way less than the $99 price it's at now (for hobby)

Limit 2 at that price but you could have also bought multiple cases at $25/box that Black Friday, along with Pinnacle at $25 and Elite $30. It's funny to think about now but at that time Blowout and distributors were just trying to dump 2013 stuff because nobody was buying even at cost.

2013-14 Crusade BKB box is a good deal. I’ve recently spent a lot so probably will pass but it’s priced at $100 and recently have been selling for $150 on eBay

Good luck with those. Not sure what they were priced at but i ripped a couple at $30 last year and they were rough!
