Blowout has Flawless Collegiate up for pre-order and says the release date is November 13th which is Wednesday. If that is the case there will be no FOTL.

I have not been following Panini much in the way of basketball. Obviously a big difference to get them direct then what BO is selling them for.

I think it's mostly a rip product.

Not enough meat on the bone for a quick flip, considering fees.

Not a long term hold because people will have moved on to other, more popular products.

Then again, if Zion lights the world on fire, all products will rise and these could double by mid December.

I mean, why would this "sports card collecting company" want the people who actually collect cards to be able to afford their products. The better business model is clearly to sell it all to distros who then sell 90% of the product to group breakers and the other 10% to card shops (roughly 75% of which now mark up prices to 1.5-2x SRP on release date)

I honestly can't wait for one rookie class to just bomb and all of the gamblers spending stupid money in group breaks to realize that they dropped thousands in a year and find a new gambling fix. I'm sure by then sports betting will be legalized in more of this country and they'll get their fix that way. The bubble will burst one day, at least somewhat and I hope Panini is among those who burst with it.

The 17-18 Hoops Premium set was $500 but all autos were Kobe. It was available on the site from November 2017 until September 2018.

That’s a horrible looking relic, it’s not even a patch. I don’t understand why Panini does this. They did the same thing in NT - I pulled a Cam Reddish and Brandon Clarke RPAs #’d /5 and both of them only had 2-color patches. Yet, in the same set I saw RPAs #’d /99 that had better looking 3-color patches.
