I went to go buy some retail packs at my local walmart, they had blasters on clearance for 2018-19 donruss basketball and 2018 optic football, so I was stoked...came home, they were completely sealed boxes...opened them up...all my packs were opened, no mem, no rookies, just base...not even the worthless inserts were left...yes, the box had the panini plastic wrap sealed...oof...never again...this makes me sad

I talked the store, they wouldnt take a return as they were opened...I dont think they believed me that someone resealed and returned them, they just rolled their eyes

That sucks... How did they manage to re-wrap with the Panini seals? Maybe reach out to the Panaini CS?

How many boxes did you buy that were like this?

Very sorry to hear about that.

So somebody else broke and returned them, but they wouldn't let you return them?

This happens all the time with retail. Sucks that it happened to you and even more so with Target not taking them back. Until they have a policy of no returning of cards, this will happen daily to someone. Such is life when you buy retail.

Agreed

My local target actually has a sign that says they don’t accept returns on cards

Sorry to hear this happened to you.

It happened to me this past year around mid February when I went into a Target an bought 2018/19 Prizm and Donruss Optic basketball. One of the boxes looked resealed and when I went back to return them all the same day at night, they would not take it back? Almost blaming me for not checking on the boxes? As if it were my job? I asked the LP guy what would have happened if I would have bought them with my Credit card, he said they "would have returned them but since you paid with cash, can't return them now!" Going forward, I pay everything with a Credit card just in case...

I went to another Target to return all their crap the following day and the girl there apologized for what happened and returned all my money!

Damn, that's super messed up. Karma isn't going to be nice to the person that pulled that off. Never ask for bad energy, doesn't end well lol

If they were resealed Walmart would think they’re new so makes sense.

This happened to me today with championship collection. Was chasing after those optic packs, but somebody refilled them all with junk 90s packs. Couldn’t return them because it says random packs on the box...

They've been doing this with the Pokemon cards too :( Now I'm really carefully looking at everything before any purchase.

Did you buy it with your credit card? If Walmart is unwilling to refund you, I would call your credit card company and explain to them what happened? 99.99% of the time they will refund you the paid amount.

Random packs? There's several video that show what packs more or less are in those boxes... Packercards on youtube did a video on it...
