You see a fail.

Glass half full brother.

Haha, I did notice he was capitalizing off that fail. Still a big L for Panini!

That's what they get for purposely having "NON collectors" working for them.

As opposed to having a much higher risk of theft if they had collectors working for them? I think they're ok with having some embarrassing accidents every now and then.

Very nice!

But, as we will soon know, Topps, UpperDeck, Fleer, and Donruss make mistakes too, so picking on POOPNINI is unfair. :coffee:

I'm not saying stuff like this doesn't make them look dumb, but it's better than having people who actually know about cards producing them, because then they'll know exactly what to steal/backdoor.

You don’t think the people working her know what the stuff is worth? That seems a little silly. Everyone has google :)

Other than the hand packed stuff, no, the vast majority of them probably don't know nor do they care. When you're a factory/packaging drone you learn to ignore and tune it all out very quickly. They just hope the machines don't mess up and make their day longer.

Factory/packaging people steal all the time. So what you’re saying is confusing.

Most factory jobs are different to sports cards though. In most jobs you're running product X, and product X costs Y amount of dollars, so if you're going to steal you're just going to take some off that off the production line and be done with it. With sports cards, unless someone is going to be brazen enough to steal entire boxes of cards, that's a much trickier thing. You telling me these people who see thousands of cards, probably tens of thousands, per day are gonna be paying enough attention to get the good stuff? No, 99.5% (sure, there may be one or two) are going to not even care about it and just try to get their day done with and go home.

Also, in factory environments it's normally the warehouse people stealing over the production people, because they have better access to larger quantities with less supervision. :)!

Most people just try to get through their day and actually have character. They aren’t stealing. But you make it sound like these robots don’t know what they’re looking at. Seems very silly 😝

It's not that they don't know, it's that they don't care. And I'm sure most of them don't know what the good sets are and which ones aren't. The only difference is the hand packed ones, which obviously they would know are higher because it changes up their process.

I would think most people who have a job know what they are doing and know what they are working with.

You've never worked on an assembly line then, I take it?

You know what a finished product is supposed to look like and that's about it. You run so many products that the specifics of each are irrelevant.

POOPNINI Oblivious!

No one who works here knows what s/he's doing so y'all can buy with confidence that none our f'd up cards will be back-doored- they'll all be packed out for YOU to pull yourself!

What a selling point! I swear, geniuses over there at POOPNINI.

No biggie, just rip the stickers off and switch them around. Use a little tape if need be. Nothing to see here, move along.

OP's link is for an Arcega-Whiteside numbered 23/75, this link is for one (that sold for $15) for the 24/75. Wonder if there are more in sequence?

Likely someone grabbed an incorrect sheet of stickers and put them into the loader. So however many stickers there are on a sheet, that's probably how many Arcega-Whitesides there are out there with a Josh Jacobs auto on them.

Yeah but we also have Jacobs with Whiteside Autos on them as well  .
