Some of my favorite cards in my collection have next to no real value. I don't really have any allegiance to any college so the collegiate cards do nothing for me, but 90s junk wax is some of my favorite stuff.

I would have to agree. It really seems like the bigger names are impossible to hit. However I felt the same way hobby. Many case breaks I jumped into had mostly lower end names or defensive players and only one or two of the qb's and one or two of the other offensive skill players. Hard to hit the autos for sure. But the parallels are by far my favorites this year.

The megas are good value, my big concern is that the market is now being flooded with those who opened retail, and it’s the typical race to the bottom.

Additionally, I'm not convinced these are a buy at the floor ($100).

Resale values for singles are dropping like crazy, especially since retail hit. Before retail was available, you could get a decent price for autos, silvers/colors, etc. Now? Good luck.

Some ebay sellers are pulling the wool over some buyers eyes. I've seen many sales now where they are selling the Mega's and listing them as Hybrid's. They are the same packaging and configuration, minus the H2 symbol on the top lefthand corner (like someone previously mentioned).

I've seen both products break and the autographs are slightly better in the Hybrids and you get more numbered cards in the Hybrids. Details from Panini below...

Yea, the ebay market is as follows. Last 5 sold of each format...

I think that is misleading how Panini published that. From the Hybrid boxes I've seen, just like the Mega's, the vet parallels and RC parallels have been pretty even in quantity per box.

Yep. Hybrid exclusive parallels have long odds. I've watched a few cases of this crap opened and it's striking how bad they are. Also the Autos seem to be in the 1st pack of the box across the board.

Harder to hit parallels indeed. Pretty nuts that they're releasing a Hobby/Direct SKU that is less desirable than a retail one but this is 2020 and anything goes.

Idiots will buy this one and get roasted on resale.

One time that Panini should roll back the clock and drop these at low price ($75-80) but because they sold these to breakers and retail shops at jacked prices there's no chance.

I've probably opened more hybrid boxes (personally) than anyone. About 80 boxes - some of which I've bought on Dealernet. Very, very familiar with everything there. I got mine all between $55-75 per box, which was nice.

It's a solid buy at $100 (or about $110 per after taxes). My opinions are based on my approach, which is opening product with the idea of 1) having fun and 2) making a profit through selling on eBay. From strictly a "fun" perspective, this is a really fun product to open.

The problem is that you can't hold this (like other products) hoping for it to gain value. Also, retail has completely CRUSHED singles prices. I'm seeing Burrow silvers end at under $30 at auction - these were $60+ just 1-2 weeks ago. Other guys prices for silvers/colors have been slashed as well. Based on singles pricing, I'm done buying any Prizm Draft. Once retail hit, and people are actively racing to the bottom, it's just not worth the time.

Overall, I always love Draft products. Bust a lot of it. It's insanely fun to have stuff listed while the draft takes place (same with MLB - I open a bunch of USA stuff).

Hybrids were the only good SKU this year (and it was GREAT at $60-$70 per). Hobby was REALLY watered down, and Retail was ok - but the autos were for the most part bad.

Hi All - First time writing here, and sorry if this is a bit of a topic change but would love to get general thoughts on something. I had a great pull tonight, a Panini Tua color blast....super rare. Then, while inspecting the back I see two, severe, creases. Straight out of the pack. Has something like that happened to any of you? Is there any recourse? This card went straight from pack to top loader. It came with these creases. Is Panini obligated to deliver product in better condition?

It's still crazy to me that I never saw any of this in-store at a Wally. Not a single blaster, not even a single cello pack. I did get some cello packs from Wally online when they were available for a short window but that is it.

Sorry I missed this. Beautiful card and too bad about the damage. You should contact Panini about having them send you a replacement. It's worth a shot. I've never done it before but I'm sure it's possible and at least worth a try on a great card like that.

It's still crazy to me that I never saw any of this in-store at a Wally. Not a single blaster, not even a single cello pack. I did get some cello packs from Wally online when they were available for a short window but that is it.

This was the first time I’ve ever run into it. I did see empty trays at Walmart but never anything live, which is why I picked some up today. Random that it showed up now though.

Yeah I will keep an eye out for it next week. I do think it's worth picking up if you find it, whether to bust or hold.

Not a bad rip, no huge hits (no top autos or parallels) but out of 10 blasters:

5 Burrows (2 silver 3 base)
Silver chase young
silver ceedee lamb
Silver Juedy
Silver ruggs
Bunch of base Herbert, tua, ruggs

Gonna try to get the burrows in for grading, if even 2 of them hit 10s I’m in the money.
