Dude received a winston Cracked Ice Auto by my mistake. No clue just thought it was lost in the mail. Saw the exact card sold on eBay couple weeks ago. Long story short this guy just received it knowing it wasn’t his and how to contact me..waited a month and sold it dishonestly. Anyone know this guy?

UPDATE/ Got my money back
APPRECIATE THE HELP

My printer double printed a label from the last eBay transaction and I put it on the winston. I saw the card sold and the seller is the eBay transaction right before the lost winston. Defiantly my fault, but either way that’s completely not right

It’s him. We will just pretend it’s “an honest mistake” as long as I get the 335 I had to refund the buyer on eBay.

Definitely would have been classier to contact you about it but he also did wait a month before selling it. I'd be mad at myself for not double checking more than I would be mad at the guy. It landed in his lap innocently enough and no one contacted him about it.

Had no idea where it went....definitely my fault. Still not his card and he knew better. Stealing is stealing and he knew where the card came from. The card he bought off of me on eBay came right with it. He knew my eBay ID and return address.

I don't think that could be considered stealing.

technically - no. it was sent to him as a mistake.

but as pointed out:

-he knew he did not purchase it
-he knew it had good value
-he did not try and locate rightful owner
-he sold it

just as bad in my opinion

no he didn't.

this did not happen until you called him out. doing the right thing would have been getting the card back to you.

without this thread - do you really believe you would have your money????

My printer has done goofy things like this multiple times... I get so paranoid and look labels over like 5 times now. Easy to do when you aren't printing much..haha

Quickest case closed by far good deal OP.

Completely unacceptable, got a card he knew he received by error and then proceeded to sell it himself? Glad you got the $ back to refund the original buyer, but now that guy is screwed out of the card he wanted and purchased.
