eBay buyer

Hey guys, I don’t deal with eBay, too much. I had an item listed and received a message from somebody asking if I still had the cards. They said text me ASAP and left a phone number. I looked the person up a few minutes later, and it said they registered their account today and already no longer a registered user. I just want to make sure this isn’t normal and that this is probably some kind of scam. Thanks.

That is also the set up to a classic ebay scam. Shocked you were not offered more than listed price
