What is the current fee % for PayPal? In the past I thought it was 2.9% plus 30 cents.
I sold a card for $249.99 plus $2.99 shipping on eBay. Tax was $13.91. My PayPal fee was $12.04 which is 4.75% of the price plus shipping and 4.5% if you include the tax. Seems high to me.

international sale? that percent is 4.4%
$11.74 + $0.30 = $12.04

Are you certain? There are lots of buyers who are international but ship to the US. If you get one of them you pay the international rate despite the shipping address. That puts the fees right on track.

Is there any way to see this? It is a Luka Doncic card so international would make sense but the shipping address is in Wisconsin

So if an international buyer sets up a local shipping address you have to pay a higher fee? Doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Thanks for the response.

You are thinking about it based on shipping address, which doesnt matter.
It is where is their bank of record or financial institution based. The institution is having to convert to USD from there, the address is a moot point.

YOu can go in and block international payments on Paypal but in the next 12 months all that is going to change on Ebay anyway.
