It's looking like making the playoffs this season is shakey. Next year should look good. Off season moves should be interesting.

Also someone is off loading their PSA 10 Anfernee Simons Prizms for $300-$500 on ebay.

With the remaining schedule left I can see them winning 11, possibly 15 games out of 23 games.

Step 1: Playing something that resembles anything even remotely close to defense.

Step 2: Prosper.

Nurkic and Collins were a huge part of the succes Blazers had last year. They will be back this year, but it will probably be a little too late. More than anything CJ did not even come close to holding up his end this year, he's been an absolute ghost.

The number of easy baskets the opponents score on the Blazers game after game is just sad.

Ariza should have helped, but he is past his prime. Nurk and Collins are definitely missed.

If Whiteside played with more hustle and intensity, he would be an even better defender. Don’t get me started on his offense...

A large problem lies with the backcourt. Lillard and McCollum are wet napkins on d.

That's why they consistently get ran out of the gym by the Warriors and teams with capable guards. They almost always end up putting up career numbers against them.

To put this into perspective, they both have a 1.1 defensive winshare rating...COMBINED. That is the type of stuff that makes Trae Young blush. Lillard is so offensively gifted that he can negate his defense when he's draining buckets, but when both aren't carrying the team it's basically game over.

Can only expect so much from the bigs when you can't keep the ball handler in front of you.

16 PPG on 60+% shooting
Hard to do much more with Melo and CJ shooting so often

What's the possibility of them resigning Whiteside and Melo?

I see what you mean. I do wish he was more assertive near the basket. I feel with his height and wingspan, he should be dominating opposing bigs.

Yeah, with tonight’s loss I am starting to call it a season. Dame should extend his time. Nurk should comeback next season along with Collins.

I am telling you look up those Anfernee Simons cards. I think the Ebay sellers name is lillie something. Got a Collins and Trent Jr card way over priced.

Nurk is more than likely going to just be shut down the rest of this season as he's not back in practice shape (although he could stay back at home and work out instead of traveling to every game), Collins will be held out, and I imagine in the middle of March that Lillard and CJ will have their minutes very much restricted. It is what it is...would have loved to have seen a playoff berth and make money off Laker fans but that's the way the ball rolls.

Does Whiteside and Melo coming to town change the way free agents might look at Portland as a destination? They keep getting great comments about the organization from past and current players.

Did anyone not expect them to beat the Magic?
