There is a great video of a an altercation with a "card fondler" circulating on social media right now.
It's golden.
There is another image of a pack pervert who got busted as well.
It's time to turn our cameras on these guys in the wild and out them when we see them.
They look exactly how I would imagine they would too--white, middle aged, shabby clothes etc. Although they were skinnier than I imagined.
Time for cards to be put behind display cases like razors and cosmetics. It's long overdue. People are unable to control themselves out there.

What you imagine in your mind what a pack searcher looks like? That is scary in itself.

I expected them to look more like "baseball card guy" on the Simpsons

The one I saw today I felt bad for the Walmart employees. Honestly the people recording are as weird as the searchers themselves in my opinion. I’ve seen it before (when I worked at target) but it never ever occurred to me to record the dude and put him on blast

I was just in my local target and saw a guy who had to be in his 60s rummaging through the Heritage packs, bending them left and right.
These guys are just creepy!

Panini should put a card vending machine in each store so there won't be any issue like this.

Still don't understand why anyone still worries about this nonsense. Target/Walmart do not care that this goes on or what happens to the cards because they do not pay for the product until AFTER a customer buys them. Hell, I worked at Target over the holidays one year and this guy busted an entire gravity feed box of Optic Baseball, opened it, took out the hit each pack had, and then proceeded to bring them back claiming he didn't get what was stated on the pack. I watched the manager say no problem and give him his $$ back. I told the manager what he did, and was told oh well, we won't have to pay for them, it'l be returned to the vendor. The next week I saw the guy do it again with a different product. I see him at our local shows and had to set up next to him once.
This guy probably spent $3.26 for the packs and had worthless jersey's that you couldn't give away for $.50.

Ran into my local pack searcher yesterday at Target in Westminster, CA
and gave him a piece of my mind. He was going through the Heritage packs.
