I think right now the Optic and Prizm autos are overpriced (especially the stickers), but they're the only autos available. Once we start seeing the other "premium" autos release they'll come down

Hope not. Picked up a holo and blue redemption autos. Like that these are supposed to be on card. Not stickers.

Happens in every sport. I've been picking up Tom Brady and Mike Trout for cheap in the off season.

(if Trout stuff ever dropped 50%, I would be homeless right now laying under a stack of Bowman Chrome auto ref's).

I'd say a more apt comparison are Trae and Luka this past offseason. Everyone was waiting for the dip...until it never happened.

They could rise or maintain in the short term. In the long term even if he joins the hobby trifecta with Jordan and lebron, zero chance these cards are worth anything like they are now. Quality lebron rookies are selling for less even after the recent spike. It’s pretty insane the prizm prices these days.

They will go down a bit, optic just came out and the silver's are already falling.
But one bad game and that's the time to scoop up the panic sells on eBay.
