Forgive me for the "this product vs. that product" thread but.......05/06 Spx and 05/06 SP A........good products? Were the good cards redemptions or in-pack? I imagine it would be hard to hit any of the good cards out of these so I would probably be better off buying singles, huh?
Thanks in advance for shedding some light.

I'll let the Crosby and Ovechkin super collectors chime in on the rarity, but I'm pretty sure the rookies for Crosby and Ovie were inpack not redemptions. The only 05-06 rookie of note which comes to mind as redemption was Franzen. Anyway, I remember WillCVincent or someone on here pulled an Ovie spectrum SPX out of a Black Friday or other promotion box on here and it was live.
I think 05-06 is fun to bust since the list of decent rookies aside from the big 2 is so long since it is two years of rookies in one.
Anyway, you have a lot of celebrating to do with the new addition to your family, so have some fun and break a couple boxes. Big stick tap to you and your family on your new daughter!!

In the last couple of months I have ripped in to 2x 05-06 SPx boxes and not found a Sid or Ovie. My rookie jersey autos were Cam Ward and Braydon Coburn; not horrible hits imo.
I have a box of 05-06 SPGU on the way that I'm hoping I'll have better luck on.

Lol, thanks a lot! I've been saving for a few months to buy something to break but I want to make sure I'm totally set on a product because this will most likely be my last break for a little while. Time and money will now be at a premium in my house!!
