Help in refund on eBay

Card is lost in mail. I have money in PayPal. Buyer opened case for refund. I went to refund and eBay tells me there is an error processing.

How do I correct this? I guess I can refund through PayPal but then I’d have an open case on eBay. Anyone have this happen?

I think the ebay-Paypal link itself is somehow having issues now.
You probably have to wait for a while until ebay or paypal fixes this issue.

A bit of different situation for me, but I have items in cart and when trying to check out via paypal, the Paypal long-in screen on ebay just keeps spinning.
I was curious if this was just me, so searched on Twitter, and many people seems to have the same issue.
I assume you not being able to refund though ebay-paypal is coming from the same problem above.

Seems the buying checkout issue is fixed for me now.
