2008 Topps Series 1 Question

I purchased a case of 2008 Series 1 in the March Madness promo. I am only through 3 boxes so far, and I pulled a redemption that (of course) expired 1/31/10.

It was a highlight auto of Seth Smith. It is Group E pull at 1:1,075. Because it is the only hit I may get in the whole case, I want something out of it.

I also got this, which may not even be a short print. #234c Red Sox w/ Giuliani that is a red card.

Should I send directly to Topps and see if I get anything out of it? Should I contact them? What is the best way to handle? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thats the risk you take with old boxes/cases. Topps is pretty bad about old redemptions unfortunately.

Sorry to tell you, but Topps isn't going to do anything for you. It sucks, but it's true.

I know from experience that, unfortunately, Topps will not honor your redemptions. Sorry about that. Good luck on the rest of the way.
