I have Montero in my Fantasy keeper league, just saw this update today through cbssportline.com

Montero's chances to make club improve

Jesus Montero, C NYY
News: With backup catcher Francisco Cervelli out for at least four weeks with a fractured foot, Yankees prospect Jesus Montero now has a much better chance of making the team out of spring training as a reserve. When the Yankees signed C Russell Martin as a free agent this offseason, it appeared that Montero would either be ticketed to Triple-A or traded. However, according to MLB.com, both Montero and fellow prospect Austin Romine are being considered as backups to Martin with Cervelli out for an extended period.
Analysis: At least for Fantasy purposes, Montero would be wasted as a part-timer, as he has the ability to hit for both power and average. Nonetheless, he is worth keeping an eye on, especially in deeper formats, as Martin has health issues of his own, which could lead to even more playing time for Montero. He is definitely worth a flier in AL-only leagues.
