Sent out a bunch of cards last Thursday and for some reason one of them still says it’s in the pre-shipment phase. Buyer has asked me what’s going on. I know I shipped this and I see other cards from the same day have already arrived. How do I handle this situation? What if he wants a refund? It’s a $30 card.

If it never shows delivered you will likely be forced to refund.

Right. But how long should I wait? If he’s requesting a refund now would I need to give it? I drop all my cards off at the PO each afternoon.

There is a function on the USPS website for delayed/missing mail. It will start a Salesforce case with your local PO and they will have to look and respond.

I believe for ebay you need to wait 7 days from the last activity on a shipment to file anything. I've been in contact with 2 buyers who haven't received items but the last update was 4/4 @12:00am, so yeah something is definitely weird with USPS tracking right now. Other items in that same batch I dropped at post office have been delivered, might just be something going on with USPS causing delays. I also have only had 1 package delivered to me this week, I'm wondering if they're doing things like leaving packages in holding for longer so any potential virus on them would have time to die
