With the recent surge in everything 80's/90's/2000's...is anyone else as fascinated by the stagnancy in prices of the irrelevant roleplayers from these same sets?
I've been able to amass amazing slabbed pc's of dudes like Carlos Delfino, Felton Spencer, Kevin Gamble, and Jon Koncak for the price of a modest family meal at Baja Fresh.
Granted they're not Top 50 hof'ers...does anyone think these guys are ridiculously undervalued compared to other cards as sealed junkwax begins to dry up? I just can't see them being less than a penny for long, especially as registrybois begin pursuing master sets of hoops and '98 Clectors Choice.
Thoughts?

No because the guys you named weren’t very good role players.
Now if you were asking if a guy like Robert Horry could see his 1992 Upper deck go for more than $13 in PSA 10, sure, why not?
I think we’ve all wasted 13 bucks on worse.

Not scaleable. Losing on your hourly rate basis.

Call me crazy, but I feel like the potential ROI on 50 Sedale Threatt's trumps the equivalent single Horry investment.
I want to believe.

My FOTL bot coders in New Delhi are doing most of the purchasing for me at unprecedented hourly wages. Let's take that out of the equation for argument's sake.

Dude.. anything PSA 10 is fire right now. Adding that plastic shell is like adding a 100x multiplier to the card value. .50 cent card..:( Now it's $50! :)!
Remember.. "buy the plastic, not the card" and you''ll been fine.

i know PSA is king, but i know 9s - 10s are harder. would you encourage trimming michael doleac 9's to try and cross to BGS 9.5? or are psa 10s all they want?

Whichever one of you trimmed the 1992 Upper Deck #21 Bryant Stith/LaPhonso Ellis Dual RC Checklist to snag the Pop 1 PSA 10 deserve a McRib out of season! Your dedication knows no bounds.

You no longer have to trim cards to get BGS 9.5s. Therefore, if you want to trim, send to PSA.

From a cost-per perspective, you'd be better off chasing 6 and 7's with good eye appeal and color registry. I've been hoarding rough Doleac lots for less than the cost of the premium paper they were printed on. The PSA:BGS price ratios are so skewed that it's simply a matter of time before the gap is filled. Smart money is hedging on BGS 7's and 8's right now...but that won't hold up for long.
Had at least a dozen WGC 10 Rex Walters on my watchlist that had BIN's hit last night. Looks like the train may be leaving the station.

Was watching that one closely, but that left edge looked way too smooth for me to pull the trigger. One of my white whales....shame it's now Megan Fox with the toe thumbs.

I'd say Chris Crawford is ready to pop.
Who could forget his magical run in 2004? After years of minimal minutes, everyone on the Hawks died. Chris answered the bell and averaged something like 20/8 once he got to start. Then he hurt his knee in the off season and never played again.
