Well since the redemption card says "Mystery redemptions include items for all teams meaning this can be randomed to all teams in a group break", I'd say it isn't just limited to Kobe/MJ.

If you go to blowout site and in the search bar type 23/24 it will give you a description of what's available I'm pretty sure it has to do with the top three that wore number 23 or the top three that wore number 24 and what sucks also is that you had to redeem it through email instead of entering the code on a site and it automatically telling you what it is

I also asked for clarification on what the possibilities are with these redemption cards, answer below:

Current players, retired players, Bgs 9.5 and Psa 10 Rookie cards, Graded Sets, Signed Memorabilia from Jordan to Zion. It is a very complete memorabilia, game used and card spread of redemptions. Redemptions are not in every case and range in apx retail value, but they are all great!

Yeah I noticed that as well, when I get my 2nd one I'm going to redeem it as well. I ended up using the form on their website for the redemption since I did not get a reply from the email where I had to send it in per the card instructions.

If the redemption is anything like the boxes good luck. I got 2 of the grey flannel certified used swatches, one Harden and one Rodman. They are both really bad swatches and terrible display. At least they are big! The cards were almost as bad. Most of the ones I saw were like $10 cards. There was a nice Giannis rookie auto that is about $350 that came from a case.

Doubtful that it will have an original sketch (even a hideous one like the Giannis)...and probably no artwork, not even some silly faux limited Edward Vela fake Photoshop "art" print.

If anyone is seriously turning down a $400 on an unredeemed redemption...you're making a terrible decision.

Search ebay for these comically weak pieces...they're all over. Wonky garbage often with fake stamps (homemade "local post"), cheap "art" and goofy hunks of material slapped on a 5x7 with a gob of goo.

yeah im really debating on selling my mystery redemption. and i just saw the pre orders for the series 2. i like how they say credentials and legacies and all kinds of inserts, but its literally all fleer retro stuff, which imo is trash. but thats only my opinion.

My LCS had a mixer break with a box in there, and that is how I got my redemption. Never again though, "Mystery Redemption" is a huge red flag. Why would they not put the actual item on the redemption. Sounds like a big way to backdoor the better advertised items.

One of my scratch off areas was maybe 3/4" and the other 1 1/4". These cards are very interesting as it looks like a child cut them out. ALSO the code is SO SO SO very small, I needed to take a picture of it just so I could zoom in and read it correctly.

AND OH I still have not received word of what my 2nd redeemed item is to be.

I really do dislike this, email in and see what you get. I mean what's stopping them from just choosing lesser item(s) to hand out and save the 2-3 better items for the end. I wish it was a portal that immediately kicked back your item.

I can't imagine they would actually write that without some serious hedging in the language, but if they did then any Super Break attorney who wants to argue that this guy's case was equal value to the one containing the Jordan BGS 8 rookie is going to get laughed out of court.

How does anyone trust the provenance of these so-called game worn rags/relics? Like what signs has this company given to prove they are trustworthy?

People buy this junk, and Super Break continues to churn it out.

Sadly, people watch juiced cases that are delivered to specific breakers and think they have a shot at a huge hit.

This has been their MO for years, and people still buy it. The company and content changed, and the 5x7 cards are abominations.

I got a similar framed Lebron number 3, game used jersey (2002).
To be honest I was so so relieved because apart from the fact that
it did not come from a NBA jersey/shooting shirt, it's not looking too bad.
It could have been much worse looking from how bad these guys have done.

These look like something I'd buy at Woolworth's when I was 7 and would hang in my bedroom. These are awful. I bought a repack product once, a Rookie Leaf product, and got a Colt McCoy. Never again after that. For how much they charge, you can tell most of it either gets pocketed or goes into marketing. Not to be that guy, but i pointed out there scams way back in 2014 when they did the big boppers. I was a bit “younger” so some of my words in the thread weren’t as well as I described them, but it disgusts me with some of the $10 cards they’ll put in a $120 product.

I opened a few of their super break 12/15 recently and it was a apalling. I felt like giving them a chance. Granted, I pulled a redemption for a walter payton framed auto and patch (given it’s a $40 calling card that he signed like a billion of) but i really hit $30 worth of cards in 2 boxes- chris moore laundry tag patch ($10.50 sale price) tom brady e-topps card ($8.50 sale price) and a mahomes 2020 insert card bgs 9.5 (sold for $16.50).

I honestly don’t know how anything about them hasn’t happened with a lawsuit or anything. I get it, it’s cardboard, but panini/topps/ud at least gives you a fair shot.

I don't usually like to raise controversy but I’d like to speak up about Superbreak Sports. First of all they operate out of South Bay Sports Cards and Collectibles in Lomita,CA. Ive been going here ever since I was a kid to buy basketball cards and they would sell their repackaged products years ago before superbreak. They would put 5 hits into a SP signature tin and tape it up and sell it as a custom product. They were $70 and I bought a few and didnt get #@#@#@#@ but I was too young to realize back then. Now I realize there was probably $5 worth of no name autos and jersey cards.

They started doing superboxes (before superbreak) and posted in store breaks of them on their YT Sbaycards. The videos online would show people breaking the boxes and pulling really nice cards! I remember one of the cards was a Lebron james auto from a loaded box. I thought “wow they really improved!” 2 years later the same exact lebron james auto is pulled from another superbox. I thought this was weird and messaged them and they said “its common we buy back cards from our customers”. Fair enough but I thought it was strange that they would buy back cards from a product that they made with cards they originally had lying around their store. They have since deleted all of these videos.

One day I go in and guess whats sitting in the glass shelf, the same lebron auto. My theory is that they posted fake videos of breaks showing off good pulls to get them to sell when in reality you get a bunch of $2 hits. Same goes for the pictures that are posted of the chase cards on the box/packaging of the product. They really do have those cards, but they are not in the product and are instead sitting in their glass cases for overinflated prices. So basically no one has a chance of hitting those.

As for those shitty/sketchy autographs I have a feeling none of them are real or truly certified. Back in the day when I purchased their repacked products I hit an adrian dantley IP autograph (a base card that adrian dantley supposedly autographed). I dont have the card anymore, but the signature looked like none of adrian dantleys signatures. His autos are super clean cursive whereas the auto i got was just “A.D”. Im thinking the autograph was forged. Cant anyone tell all of their “autographs” on those bar cards seem a little different than the standard autograph of that player? Then they make a shitty CoA to go along with it.

Anyway thats my rant about this place. Theyre scammers and their products are all trash. I recommend you stay away from them and just buy singles rather than chasing nonexistent cards and fake autographs!

Im thinking the autograph was forged. Cant anyone tell all of their “autographs” on those bar cards seem a little different than the standard autograph of that player? Then they make a shitty CoA to go along with it.

Anyway thats my rant about this place. Theyre scammers and their products are all trash. I recommend you stay away from them and just buy singles rather than chasing nonexistent cards and fake autographs!

I wouldn't trust them with their hit products. You can't develop a faithful clientelle like that. It's pretty much once you have graduated to the next level of collecting, you know to stay away from the local LCS.

Regarding the authenticity of the autographs and game-used pieces...if you trust the name on the COA, then you should trust the authenticity.

The quality is garbage, that's obvious, not no matter the wonky, weird shaped scraps of memorabilia...the authenticity shouldn't be suspect.

The "local post" stamps that are used for many of the images? They are unlicensed, worthless garbage.

Choose wisely. And in this case...choose something else.
