Starting a NEW PC!! The Big Ticket!!

Decided during this lockdown that I would start a new PC!! It was an easy choice, favorite TWolf of all time!! Had collected him when I was a kid so I have about 40 or so cards already had but nothing major!! KG is mostly reasonable prices so I got some really nice ones in today and yesterday and have some other nice ones incoming!!

It's weird bc they had been doing refractor RCs two years already. It's not like this was their first basketball product.

And it's also weird that they never had any test issues that escaped or rumored stories like that.

They just...never made any.

The biggest mistake of 90s basketball cards second only to the chrome greening problem.

That KG PSA 10 Finest really looks great! I still think those are underrated even they are in $500 range. I picked up one for around $450 a couple of weeks ago.

I saw him walking into TD Garden (I use to go 2 hours early to go to the restaurant in the Garden) and politely asked him for his autograph, he kept his head down and didn't say anything. I told my friend I know he doesn't sign so we laughed it off. I then walked up the stairs behind him and a young boy maybe 5 or 6 years old has a huge smile on his face and politely and excitedly asks KG for an autograph and KG doesn't even acknowledge the kid is there. Doesn't say a word. The kid starts crying and I found out the type of person KG is that day.

I loved watching KG and loved his intensity but I had a hard time cheering for him after seeing that.

Celtics don't win in 2008 without him. He got robbed of the MVP in 07/08, no reason Kobe should've got it instead of him.

Not a huge fan of him ignoring kids but I read that when he was a rookie or in his second year he would see all his stuff he signed for fans being sold online so he stopped signing unless he gets paid!! A lot of athletes are like this, isn't going to change the way I feel about him!!

It wasn't the fact that he didn't sign that bothered me, I've been turned down by guys like Pierce before but at least Pierce would joke around that he was late for a meeting or something stupid like that. To completely ignore a child at a Celtics game was a complete lack of disrespect to me and I unfortunately think of that first when thinking of KG.

I agree 100%, collecting is about the sport and the player not the person. I still have a few cards of his in my PC as well. Good luck with your PC!

Just bought a KG 2000 Upper Deck Game Jersey Auto for $229 while the 5% eBucks going on, I think the card is really a steal since it is a 20 years old "vintage" T-wolves era auto on card. It is not even half the price to his finest rookie right now.

Those are awesome. I love spx and think ultra is so underrated. The different golds look awesome and are still very reasonable (other than MJ and Kobe)

Not sure if I got a steal here or not but when I seen this, I had to have it and bought it for what the seller was asking for which was $24 with shipping!!

It is a 04-05 Fleer Showcase Legacy Collection 072/125!! Whether it is a steal or not, I love the look of this card and I am really happy to get it!!
