Just got a neg from a buyer over shipping time of an item. It was shipped in my stated handling time but took 4 days longer to arrive. Within a couple of minutes of it being left the negs were removed from Ebay and they sent me a message about actions taken to protect my account. I never reported it or anything.

I assume you had tracking logged on the site? Maybe eBay wised up and automated removing negs like that based on the delivery date.

It's nice seeing eBay be proactive for a change

I had a customer open a case last Monday for a late package. I updated it with the ship date and tracking number and explained that it got delayed between Memphis and New Jersey and was still in transit. He escalated the case Friday morning. Ebay said the package was still in transit and immediately put a hold on the case until May 4th.

They're doing it now because of delays caused by the Corona virus but it shows they could do it all the time if they wanted to.

I had a nightmare buyer on of all things a shirt, guy saw the package was progressing through the system, slower than norm but progressing. Wanted a refund before it was even delivered. Undertones of a negative feedback being left. It was delivered a day later. The guy left me a positive but dinged my DSR'ings. Shipped same day as payment, exactly as it was posted in the auction but it was my fault the P.O. delayed it a few days.

For a Fcking shirt!
