I’ll wait to put a name until I see how this plays out. Guys is claiming a card has a terrible surface scratch and is freaking out about it. Card was $28. I pulled the card in 2014 and have owned it since never seeing this. Just took a picture when listed it. Says card is not even near mint because of this it is so bad. Card sold for more than I thought it would. Does this sound like buyers remorse, and he possibly damaged the card? I am pretty good at looking over cards. If I never noticed this in 5 years owning that blows my mind. And again missed when just listed it. I offered $10 to keep or return, now at $15 or return which is more than half of what he paid. Card did not have anything nearly that bad when sent it.

Never get into offering the partial refund game. Tell him to return it or keep it. Is he extorting a partial out of you or did you offer first?

Also a link to the sale page with photos would help as well.

Card has a scratch, but it is small and not that bad. He is over exaggerating. I listed the card as near mint at worst. Find it hard to believe the card would be worse than that. If people want a gem mint card buy one. This is happening more and more. He isn’t extorting I offered. Not worth the hassle to realist. Sounds like it’s coming back though.

The more often you offer partial returns, the odds increase this will happen to you again.

Always return for full refund. Offering partials encourages bad behavior. Many times you tell them to return you never hear nothing else from them

This x10

Tell the buyer to return the card and then youll refund him.

This is a scam. Meaning he wants to get the card for half-price.
