Anyone else have this happen recently? I had a buyer purchase four cards on the 21st and the tracking has stopped on the 26th.
The cards are going to Florida so I wondered if that may have something to do with it. Thankfully this is a low end lot ($7 total dlvd) but I hate that I can’t provide answers for the buyer. I told him that I’ve heard of some places taking longer due to COVID.
I can’t help but wonder if it is sitting between a couple sorting machines somewhere waiting to be found in a few months haha.

Happens fairly often truth though items that are in the system rarely go undelivered. Often signing up for text updates from the USPS will semm to shake the item loose.

I’m in New York and anything to and from Florida has taken 2-3 times as long the last month or so.I wouldn’t worry about it just yet. But like Shreve said, sometimes just signing up for text alerts for packages seems to stir up movement.

I am having the same issue. A card I purchased has been stuck with the same message but it is showing as expected delivery date for tomorrow so I am not too worried. Yet.

I agree with this.

Happening a lot during the virus, WAY more than I ever remember it happening. Several items in my region of the U.S. (midwest) have taken 2-4 days longer than usual.

Stuff from NY to cali would take three days to get there, now it takes a week.

On the flip side I have seen many packages moving faster than before. If you are in a hard hit area or shipping into a hard hit area it seems to be slower.

Happening so much right now. All of my packages going into Michigan are taking over a week to get delivered.

One card I sold should’ve been delivered on the 24th, and it’s in Transit to Next Facility, then another one that should’ve been delivered by Monday is in Transit still. Both first class mail

So will EBay back the buyer if this were to sit in limbo for weeks and weeks?
I’m assuming they will if it never is truly delivered but figured I’d ask the experts here like Shrevecity :)

If it never shows delivered the sellers only hope you have is they refund out of their pocket. They will however remove any neg you may get provided the item was scanned in within your stated handling time.

Sorry I’m not following. In my situation I’m the buyer and the card I bought is held up. I’m certainly not going to neg the seller as it’s not his fault the card is delayed.
So would I get refunded by someone ?

Yes if it never shows delivered you would be refunded by either the seller or Ebay.

Thanks for the help always man.
Ok, I understand now.
It’s only been about a week so seems like I have more time to wait being that the member posting above has a date of 4/12 and still nothing. Not fun.

I have like 10 packages currently still in transit since Monday when most were scheduled for delivery today. most are being bounced around to NDC's they shouldn't be at, stuck in transit, took 3 days to get to my NDC which usually only takes an afternoon or have no scans since departing but amazingly appear randomly close to their destination.
everything is slow and wonky right now. just needs more time in transit.

Yeah this is brutal. Another day of stuff not showing up. Making COMC shipping look fast.

Talked to local postmaster today in my little town. He said usually this time of year packages would normally be 675 a day for 5 routes. Today’s count was over 1400. He said those were how many packages they get per day come around Christmas time. Looks like people are spending that Trump money!

my sales have been through the roof the past 2 months well before the stimulus hit. April was a record month for me almost 6000 in sales.

the sorting facility near Detroit is now processing through Palatine IL, and has been for 2-3 weeks now...
that 5 route office with the 1400 packages sounds like an outlier day, granted one of the days near xmas my full route carrier had 341 packages back in Dec of 2018, this included over 100 from Amazon, so id say 200 were USPS, as she typically had 20-40 UPS/FedEx
currently at my office in the far NW burbs of Chicago, I am seeing slightly above Xmas packages on the 'typical' day on the 'morning' run...that said, we typically get a 'late' truck arriving anywhere from 830 to 11 on average that has another 15 per route average, and yesterday we had somewhere around 400 (based on looking in the boxes) arrive on the truck at 2p...
im hearing nationwide volume is up 20-30% above Xmas peak volumes...the thing is, nationwide there are 1000's of 'seasonal' employees hired to help with the volume...in Illinois alone it is over 100 positions that hire, but some of those positions are for multiple people..one of the offices I worked in hired 3 seasonal carriers off of 1 posting, I imagine in the distribution centers they hire even more for one of those postings...
our Amazon is all over the place, in October there would be Saturday's where we got 50 packages from Amazon, the next week it would be 300...down to 50, and then BAM 600...now we are seeing over 400 daily from Amazon, and we are in an amazon delivery area, so there are plenty of the SMILE Vans delivering, but that was up over 600 a couple weeks ago, so maybe the volume is going down, or maybe Amazon has been able to meet higher demand by hiring more 'gig' employees to deliver...
hope that answers some of the issues, specifically with Michigan delivery..
your friendly mailman...

I printed a label Friday night for an in-state transaction. It's been in possession of the USPS since Saturday afternoon and they still have not scanned it as accepted. This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks outgoing mail is not scanned like normal. The item should arrive Monday and it hasn't even been scanned at my local sorting facility.

Wondering the same thing...I have one sitting in Chicago since May 1st that came from Mississauga. The Canadian Post website says they expect at least 5-7 days delay going to the US.
I also have one sitting in Shreveport, Louisiana since April 24th.

Mine is STILL stuck in Nashville or at the next big stop before it gets to my buyer. Been this way since April 26th. Soooo annoying.
