His Bowman Chrome AUTO was selling at $40 just a week or two ago and now is up to $60, his Donruss EEE jumped from about $18 to $28, and his Bowman Sterling parallels also jumped up about 50%. I guess it's that time for prospect hype, maybe I can buy some Domonic Brown cards cheap in the next few weeks (shrug).

He's also stuck behind Romine as well.

He's not "stuck" behind anyone, at this point. He is young-he will determine if and when he is a Yankee. If he works hard, he's going to be a big time prospect. Austin Romine is not going to be in his way, if he does what he needs to.

Maybe people are realizing that what Sanchez did as a 17-year-old in Rookie Ball was just about as impressive as what Bryce Harper did as a 17-year-old in Junior College. Oh yeah, Sanchez is a Yankee (a pretty decently followed team in the hobby) and has far less cards (and even far less AUTO's) than Harper. I agree with an earlier post, Sanchez is two if not three years away, so nobody should worry about him being blocked, just like nobody should have been worried about Jeremy Hellickson being blocked last season because the Rays had five solid young starters (I think Hellickson's cards have tripled in the last eight months).

Its probably because of the hype behind the release of the top 100 prospects, most of the prospects on the higher end of that list (top 30) have been increasing in price except Harper who has been in the stratosphere anyway. Sucks because I waited to long on some of them, lol.

Some of Gary Sanchez' autographs, particularly his lower numbered Elites, are still reasonable, relative to his potential.

Actually, some of Bryce Harper's items have spiked the highest out of any prospect.

He will be if Romine and Montero continue to do what they need to do.

I agree. There is no such thing as having too much talent. When the time comes to make a decision, I'm sure Yankees will trade off one or two of their talented young catchers and keep the one they want.
