I have extensive experience trying to find a baseball game that even comes close to duplicating the real thing (well, as real as you can get on a PS3/360), and MLB The Show is it. The 2011 version comes out Tues!!!

I seriously can't wait. I am on my 8th year of RTTS in MLB The Show 10. I am glad I am a PS3 owner. My roommates have gone through 4 xboxes due to red rings. I have had my launch PS3 for 5 years with no problems. The Show is by far the best having played both though.

Played the 2k10 last year and it was fun but nowhere near The Show where I played like 9 season with a created player.

May try 2k11 this year but only if I can trade my 2k10 and some other games to get it cheaper.

God I played so much MVP 2005.

Played three full seasons with the Cardinals and I was still having fun.

The Show is the sole reason I bought a PS3 after already owning a 360. The game is so far and away better than the 2K11 games that its not even funny.

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!! had this game for the gamecube :)! it was one of the best also had mlb the show 2006 (amazing game) havent owned a "the show" game since and my most recent baseball game is 2k7 lol for the ps2 :)

picked of mvp 2006 (when i couldnt find 05 lol :()and it was college baseball, still cool and i liked the stadium creator but mvp 2005 is the best :D

I know College Baseball is not really popular anywhere but in the south, but still, I would imagine if they made it good that plenty of people would buy it.

Certainly if they can waste their time selling a soccer game in the US, they can make a college baseball game

I am a fan of the MLB 2k series. I have gotten every one since 2k7 and plan on getting 2k11. I thought 2k10 was pretty sweet actually. I have a 360 and PC so I never played The Show but I dont care as long as I got a baseball game to play. I like the 2k My Player Mode as well.

Yeah, I mean, when you play MLB The Show on PS3, you cant really go and play any other baseball game out - its that much better -

On a side note, I am seriously considering taking tomorrow off *cough* as a sick day to play .... but, I am already taking off next Thurs/Fri for the NCAA tourney

i agree with that statement :)! lol who actually buys the soccer games? :p MVP Baseball 05 and 06 were both great games :)! and once i get a ps3 (ONCE being the keyword lol i have no money but my brother has a 360) ill definitely pick up the show, ratchet and clank, god of war, and any other ps3 exclusive games like little big planet and modnation racers :)!

Modnation is spectacular and if you are a racing fan at all GT5 is a must. I spend more time on GT5 than anything. The Show and GT5 get played quite a lot.

God I love The Show even though last years wasn't as spectacular to me as years past.

Has anyone participated in an online league for MLB The Show? I participated in one last year and it was great in the beginning but it quickly died. The season is way too long and it's possible to get people on at the same time.

EA did make a college game awhile ago, it was up to par with the actually MVP EA game but didnt grab much interest form what i remember i believe it was 06-07

I've been wanting to play a baseball game for a while. I was considering getting a PS3 just for The Show but with some of the scary things Sony is doing (with regards to those people that hacked it) has turned me off of buying anything of theirs under general principle. They're actually doing crazier stuff legally than the government is with the whole wikki leaks thing, lol.

Anyway, I haven't tried MVP 2005 but if you guys aren't aware if you track it down for PC people have modded it like crazy.
