Wins item last night and then sends me a message this morning saying “I don’t want this anymore”.

I guess I should’ve known better to sell something Jordan related during this time.

That sucks but I do find it funny that these guys aren't even trying to come up with lame excuses anymore.

I miss the days of my dog sat on my keyboard and bid way more than I meant to bid I'm sorry but I can't pay for this - can you please cancel? haha.

Ugh man, sorry. I still think the window is still there until sports starts. They are replaying the Game 6 Finals, so interest should still be there.

Well I’m glad you’ve outed yourself on here as well. Now no one will do business with you on here either.

I hear ya. Was doing well until someone last night showed me a Jordan I sold, with bent up corners and what looks like slash/cuts in the card. Now I know that wasn't how I sold it and I don't want to out anyone since it "could" have happened in shipping, but it was protected in toploader, bubble etc. If they didn't want it, just send it back, my biased opinion is they destroyed it to say it was damaged and get their money back.

I never said it wasn’t. I was simply alerting other members so they don’t have to have their time wasted by this deadbeat.

eBay allows you buyers to change their minds. It is just my personal opinion that these threads over 99% overkill. I have several eBay users block. But I am not not posting every user that doesn't pay on blowoutforum and calling them a deadbeat.

Well I am so sue me. They waste people’s time with little to no ramifications for their actions. At least retract your bid if you don’t actually want it instead of winning the auction. I have a strong hunch this particular user owned the same item though and was intentionally shilling mine to prop up their price.

Calm down. That is frustrating.

I believe this attitude to be the reason this occurs in the first place.
This was an auction and the buyer won, pay up! Please tell me where you know of an auction house that lets the highest bidder skip out on the deal for any reason? I will never go there!

This isn't the cost of doing business, this is waste of everyone's time and exploitation certain loopholes. If you don't want to pay for the item, don't bid. Plain and simple. No empathy for the non-payers.

This is like the auction house scene from Uncut Gems. KG should have strung Howard up by his balls.

Theyre pumping up prices. They dont want the item but they want the sold listings to show NEW RECORD PRICES!

I’m totally fine, just slightly annoyed with deadbeat buyers. If it frustrates you so how about you quit replying. Also may I have your eBay username since you are seemingly okay with this type of deadbeat behavior.

I think it would be a good time for me to leave this thread. You accomplished your goal...a-lot of front page time to make people aware about a specific eBay user. I hope your able to sell your card for even more money! Not a chance I am giving you my eBay user name. Why? This thread.

1. Probably so since you’ve already said it’s driven you to the point of frustration.

2. I did and now it’s one less person people have to worry about wasting their time.

3. Me too!

4. You’re literally the only person in this thread that seems to be okay with deadbeat “buyers” so I wanted to add you to my acclaimed list.

They are absolutely 100% deadbeats. I love these threads. I can now block this nitwit and that’s one more “buyer” I don’t have to worry about. Whenever I post auctions, I usually do 20-25 at a time. If I get payment on 90% of them, it’s a win. It’s pathetic.
