Ahh it's a gamble like anything else, I've always enjoyed UDA items, no mater the subject, they are always pretty darn clean and nice. They also have a nice arsenal of spokesmen\spokeswomen so all in all a fun chase.

Plus this offering has always been a huge hit at the National, figure why not.

People can multitask just fine. But by the looks of this thread (still on page 1), not many people knew these were dropping or acted on them (I didn't, until the UD email).

I have done one of these at each of the last few NSCC shows. Like any product theres pros and cons. Their roster is stacked with a lot of non desirable players, but theres a chance at a great one. Their retail prices are high so even if every box has $1200 (UD prices) of product, you can't really sell a Mark Price signed basketball on the secondary market for $250 or whatever UD site price is.

I hit a Jordan auto'd jersey last year. At the time the UD price for that item was $3500...now its $8500. One of the best days of my life.

Just seems that if you don't hit something big this stuff would be a huge hassle to sell the contents of. Obviously worth it if you hit something big Jordan or Lebron but if not probably looking at best to break around even.

But no complaints. Easily the best box I've ever opened!

Nice variety. At least you got some numbered stuff. I think Upper Deck would be smart to value-add these boxes so the worst boxes still add up to more than like $1500 in ARV.

Valid point. From all the breaks I've seen here and on youtube, it looks like worst case you'll still come very close to 50% ROI based on secondary market sales, which is pretty strong for a high end product.

The boxes are huge. 4' x 3'? Maybe bigger. I thought about buying one to store, but didn't have room bc of the size. And it seems like they keep releasing them every few months or so.

Got mine and ripped it. Things were looking pretty bleak.

Started with a Shanshan Feng Art of the Swing /50 auto print ($299.99 MSRP, really?)
Then open a Jari Kurri Career Collage auto print ($249.99 MSRP)
From there... it went from bad to worse with a Casey Mittelstady 'Celly' Auto print ($79.99 MSRP)

Of course at this moment I thought... WHY did I do this? Should've just bought another Luka signed jersey from Fanatics...

4th item was a Kevin Love Swingman (Adidas) white Cavs jersey ($399.99 MSRP). I mean, at least it was basketball, right?

And then the 5th item. It actually saved the day even though I don't care much about hockey. 5th item was a Wayne Gretzky Oilers Autographed jersey ($1,499 MSRP). I can appreciate Goat memorabilia any time I get it. Would've love MJ or LBJ, but I'll take Gretzky ;)

It was fun overall, may have to do another one at some point in 2021.
