2019/20 panini Mosaic print runs?? Blue genesis / peacock

With Mosaic being hot and there are so many variants available is their any site or info that shows how limited each version is? Ones that have numbering like gold /10 etc are obvious. I heard peacock from choice could be a 1/1?

Blue genesis
Peacock
Red hobby mosaic
Orange reactive
Stained glass
Silver Prizm



Thought it would be cool for everyone to know this information.

If anyone can share links or knowledge would be appreciated.

Genesis are hard as hell to hit. They look phenomenal though. I would say the print run on them is south of /25 for sure.

Peacock wouldn't be 1/1 because they reserve that for black. Most likely as with other Choice SSP top variants it would be out of somewhere between 5-8, but less than 10. Genesis sounds right around 25. I'm seeing a lot of stained glass pulled from breaks maybe around 2-4 per case, I can't put a number on it, but it doesn't seem that rare and the current price on those probably reflect desirability for that card than actual rarity.

Im thinking Peacocks are similar to Optic Dragons based on how few of them are out there.

Genesis arent as rare as people think and will come back down to earth imo. Id guess there are 50-100 copies each as we're already seeing 10-15 genesis copies of the same card on ebay but these genesis are selling like theyre to /10 or something.

Another card that isnt as rare as people think and people are paying too much: stained glass.

I tend to agree with your thoughts about the print runs peacock would be similar to green dragon. Those I believe were limited to /5.

Maybe there are 35 copies of genesis for each player.

Are there any sources to show / print runs for all variants?

I recall there are a few statisticians on blowout who can calculate print runs.

Any info would help as there is a ton of colors and it would be good know what we maybe pulling / chasing or investing in.

I only stated what said based on what I opened. They very well could be 100 for sure. I certainly am just speculating. However, they really look cool and I certainly enjoy them.

I wish there was 100 it would certainly make acquisition of certain players more attainable.

My estimate was about 5000 hobby cases made, if that helps.

Never seen Definitive evidence On these numbers.


But there are a total of 4 on eBay right now for 2018. The best indication is that there have been 4 PSA 10 LeBrons graded. 8 would make sense given that the red was /88, but it’s a guess

Yeah I have an open search for “mosaic genesis” and the amount of cards listed every day suggests these are not that SP. I’ve already wasted like $700 collecting my team set, but my thought is these are closer to checkerboard type print run (especially considering they’re coming out of retail)

A lot of this stuff is getting busted, and these days a lot of what's busted is hitting ebay asap, so who knows, it could be close to Checkerboard's 50 or so, but the folks saying "10-20", not so much.

Yeah when we’ve already seen 10 of multiple players, and there’s so much unopened still, and there’s others on the way to get graded... I’m guessing 50 is a better guess than 20

I agree that there really is a lot being busted.

Australia has had preorders yet the cards haven't arrived yet. Could be a lot of product going overseas that hasn't made it.

I do remember one year of Immaculate the Anthony Davis base gold /10, saw 8 hit ebay the first month.

If most of this product has been busted, could be /25.

If there's alot on boats to China, maybe /50 plus. Yikes.

Those stained glass look awesome. Love those.

On the flip side I think the downtown inserts are weak for a case hit, and panini has put out some rare but ugly stuff at times. The Kaboom looks like something you'd get 1:8 packs of regular donruss.
