As far as I understand, UD would be prevented from releasing a product featuring current NCAA players. But how is Leaf/Razor able to produce the Army All-American set each year? By the time the set is released, many of these players are already enrolled in college as early-entrants, or will soon be in college. Couldn't UD exploit the same rule that Leaf is exploiting, and develop a NCAA football product featuring current players?
I don't have the time or patience to read and interpret the NCAA by-laws, but if somebody is familiar with them please chime in.
I would love a product of current NCAA football players, especially if there is no NFL football this year.
