Warning about those yellow Fairfield Boxes

I just bought a couple of those yellow Fairfield boxes. I was super excited when I saw 2019 tops update in them. When I open those packs I found that for some reason they also had 2019 series 2 cards stuffed in them too. so apparently someone bought the boxes, open the packs, took out the good cards, repackage the packs, repackage the box and return them to the stores and screwed me over.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I have seen reports of that before. I tend to get them right when they are put out so don't need to worry about it. If ssaw a box appear in the middle of the week I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole as I know they stock Mondays.

Those boxes are made from retail returns and non-sales so its possible the pack was in a target or Wal-mart and this happened. This is a fairly common occurence in those retail stores. Last month saw some Prizm basketball hangers at a Wal-mart in a remote area looking further saw all them the outer plastic around them was melted together. It defintly was not a factory seal but a Wal-Mart employee would likely not know that or care as they just bill it back to the vendor.
