Is there a reason Dwight Howard's RCs are so low?? I'm looking at his topps chrome and I feel like they are super undervalued. In my eyes he's a future HOFer. I know a lot of younger players don't know how great he used to be though.

I used to have a BGS 10 Topps gold refractor pop 1. His cards never recovered after leaving Orlando. A future HOF doesn’t mean a players card will be in high demand

It will do nothing to his cards since his teammates will be the ones that win the Championship for the team, not him.

Everyone is looking for the quick flip nowadays. There is no money to be made on his cards currently unless you happen across a buy it now steal. He's out of sight and out of mind.

Dwight Howard is one of my least favorite players. Great physique, unlikeable personality.

He is a big baby and seems unliked by teammates, coaches, and the public. I don't think the Magic have a huge fanbase, and Lakers fans dont like him from his first run.
While board man might get paid, collectors rarely care about defense only players. Look how cheap (relative to other stars) Leonard is, and dude has 2 finals mvps.

Big men in general are undervalued and it also doesn't help that he seems to be disliked by coaches and teammates everywhere after leaving Orlando.

However, this year, he seems to have set his ego aside and has been, by all accounts, a good teammate. It won't translate to hobby love though even if the Lakers win it all.

Couldn’t get along with harden in Houston.....
Teammates in Atlanta threw a party when he got traded to Charlotte.....
Charlotte players openly told the media how happy they were to get rid of the locker room cancer when he got traded to Brooklyn, who ended up cutting him......
Traded and waived twice....
Viewed by many as a waste of potential....

He has never had a weak statistical year, but his numbers are meaningless stats on irrelevant teams. Hasn't been dominant since like 2011. Until the Lakers signing he was a journeyman on bad teams the past 3 years.

Had always hoped his stuff would go up. Have had this sitting in my closet since 2004-05 when he autographed it for me at a game. Doubt it will gain any value. Just seems to be for the PC at this point
