Hey everyone,

Need a little help please.

I'm a baseball card guy.....not too familiar with the recent basketball card products. My fiance has been enjoying rippin baseball packs with me, however to my surprise, she has gained a lot of interested in the hobby and expressed about opening some basketball packs as well.

I've tried to go to Walmart..Target...etc...can't find basketball in stores.

Going to have to purchase online...what's the best basketball box for the price? Looking to pay $25 - $60 if I can help it.

Thanks!

You won’t find any in stores. I could write a 5 page essay on why but trust me: don’t even waste your gas. Read the Mosaic retail thread if you have time.

Your best best in my opinion is to wait a week and buy some chronicles. It hits retail next week and you’ll be able to buy on eBay for 2x the msrp. It sucks but it beats waiting a month and paying 3x. I’m not doing it because I refuse to pay the finders fee. I’m sticking to singles for now. But in your case, it’s a fun rip. All rookie product.

Booster box? Baseball card collector or gaming collector?

Thanks for the feedback so far! I'll def checkout Mosaic and also looking into Chronicles. I gotta strike while the iron is hot! lol :)

Chaysr20, haha both! Good catch! Sorry with the terms...probably more of a value box or hanger pack (which is in a box?), However, mega box, hobby box ...all could work too.

@OP

Unfortunately, basketball products aren't priced like baseball products. $25-$60 doesn't get you much anymore.

The only hobby boxes you'll be able to get below $60 are likely those from the junk era :/
