Can’t seem to stay healthy at all...

Hope no one sold high end Bagley in past month.

Be careful of returns.

Actually his cards have been on fire the last month in case you haven’t noticed...

So it was Bagley time here recently.

For no reason other than everything was on fire. Bagley does not have a star future. His cards are going down in the future. Anyone "investing" in Bagley is a fool :coffee:

Probably good news for Giles though! I like Fox and Hield, but it's a shame they can't ever put their best 5 on the floor, they always seem to make a couple wrong picks in a row that lead to a logjam in their frontcourt. Then they have trouble breaking the logjam by just swallowing their losses and going with the more talented player... ah well.

Giles is a sleeper pick to become a breakout star elsewhere. Same with Ntilikina.

No Jason (Jay) Williams who went to Duke and had career derailed by motorcycle accident. I consider that part of the curse.

I was at the Golden1 Center for the 2018 kings draft party in what will go down as one of the worst days in sacramento's history. Woj (maybe Shams) had posted the top 4 or 5 before the draft started. We all knew it was Bagley over Luka. Small smattering of boos when Bagley was announced. Remember it like it was yesterday. Basically b/c Vlade thought Luka's dad was lazy. Hard to fathom.

Still have some hope for Bagley, especially as a 'speed, stretch 5'. I don't see him ever playing big minutes as a 4. He's got a lot of talent but it's unclear if he impacts winning. Not going to be much of a postseason for sac w/o fox and bagley.

not pleasing news as someone that has a ton of bagley, mostly from breaks or bin steals so i'm not super salty, but not thrilled......BUT....

and his stuff got really hot year 3...with all 31 games he played...

theres still hope.

Assuming that’s true it’s really a sad thing. As a king’s fan it’s hard seeing him with all these injuries and can’t help but think (as most have at some point) what it would’ve been like if we drafted Luka.

How is Vlade still employed? Drafting Bagley over Luka was already a fire-able offense, but the contract to Harrison Barnes.......

What? Missing the majority of a season? Yeah that has never happened to any who went on to be successful.

But definitely alot more riskier for Zion holders than Bagley holders.....that’s 100% for sure. Bagley fans wipe there nose and move on. Zion holders will be scarred for life.

No I meant if Zion continuously gets injured, like Bagley, or a bunch of other high duke draft picks lol

I can’t even criticize Vlade, I drafted Bagley in my fantasy team and it sat in the cellar all year.

Yea, he was an easy sell for me on anything I had. Jaren Jackson is the big to buy in the class, always has been. (Nobody buy him btw)

JJJ actually has a true NBA star skillset. Elite defensive potential and hey, he can shoot the ball. I honestly don't know about his hobby potential but his NBA future is very bright. He's never going to be the alpha on a contender but him and Ja are going to make a crazy good duo. I see a future all-star w/ first team all defense.

Someone in this thread really said Bagley could be a stretch 5. That's the kind of comment that makes me wonder if they've ever watched 1 minute of non-highlight Bagley film.

Even if you take away the constant injuries he doesn't have an elite NBA skillset. Doesn't really do anything well enough. Is a sieve defensively and can't shoot.

I wish most people on this board would actually take some time to watch and analyze the players they hype up.

Seriously, right?

If OP had Bagley cards, this thread wouldn't exist even if Bagley got so injured he was forced to retire. Then it would be time to buy when his hype is low!!!

okay.....and he didnt play a game for 2 years and 30 something his 3rd year finally.

not saying bagley has superstar potential, but also not saying there isn't a chance..he was drafted 2nd, embiid 3rd if you're going off a potential type thing based off draft position. Obviously people thought he had superstar potential if you drafted him over luka and trae.

ill willingly eat my words if bagley does turn out to be a bust, just saying compare it to embiid, another big who didn't do anything for almost 3 seasons...trust the process or something of that order..

But even with Embiid, so many people wrote him off he never gained hobby momentum. he'd have to win a championship or be in the running for MVP to turn his pricing around... even in today's crazy world, you can get his bass for $50, which is lower than almost every other young all star

I agree with you it's early to write off Bagley, but hobby wise it's not looking great.

oh embiids stuff is way down, but go back to either 16-17 or 17-18 and see his prices...they exploded once he started producing. they obviously have come back down to earth because well, the sixers kinda sorta are the clippers of the early 2010s....solid team middle of the playoff pack (4 or 5 seed) might win the first round but never really win anything.

heres embiids stuff from that sorta time frame. 2017ish https://www.pwccmarketplace.com/market-price-research?q=joel+embiid&year_min=2015&year_max=2017&price_min=50&price_max=10000&sort_by=price_high&sale_type=auction&items_per_page=50
