Is it safe to say that Prizm RCs from recent years are still gonna be the “IT” RCs in 5-10 years? I only ask because I can’t stand Prizm because it’s so mass produced. I’d rather invest in something else but not sure if I’m wasting my money doing that.

So that’s why you have a -1 Feedback? lol

I think it has a good chance but nothing is guaranteed. People like continuity a lot, but by that time Optic will have been around quite a while. too.

If you are "investing" you do as the market dictates, unless you "hate" money.
If you are collecting follow your heart
If you are asking will the market correct itself down the line. No one knows. Lots of good discussion on the board. See the new junk era thread for instance

The first few years of prizm weren't mass produced.

No, for a couple years Finest was valued more than Topps Chrome. The first Topps Chrome Basketball release was retail only because there was doubt it would be in demand.

How is that related in any way?

This is the exact opposite of how I've been successful over the past 5 years.
I follow my heart with what I think is being overlooked in the market.

Every main rookie card has fallen to another except Exquisite. Hell, I can’t tell you the last time I’ve heard non-invest guys talk about National Treasures rookies

This is my strategy too. But it’s backfired lol

I think with the release of 2018 Optic eventually it will win out for the rookie card to have long term. Lower print runs, simple and clean design and the rated rookie logo nostalgia.
I’m hoping the 2019 Prizm Green Ice set is iconic in years to come because I have the full set lol [emoji23]. Little biased Plus it’s so dang expensive to buy new boxes now
