Looking at a raw set and they seem like awfully flimsy card stock. Don’t know if they are authentic or not based on never holding one in hand before to compare. Anyone with raw form of these cards know if this is how they are?

I can’t answer your question but a bunch of high end graded cards from the set have been popping up on eBay over the last few weeks and snapped up quickly.

I have the whole set and yes, they're practically printed on newsprint. Had no idea they were being pumped right now, but I'm not selling so I guess it doesn't really matter!

Definitely flimsy- they were a free giveaway when you bought an Icee back in the day. I have a Wilt and West and have seen values steadily rise as well, particularly anything graded 8 and up

Does any know know proper size sleeves and toploaders or card savers for these? Very oversized. Many thanks for all the people who responded.

Underrated set. Complete sets are $225-$300. Some recent Ebay pumping/shilling activity, don't believe the hype.

Picked up a NM set Friday at a show for 160. Sharp corners but every card like 35-65 or 40-60. Really sweet overall. Sending the stars off to be graded. And yes, flimsy stock. I was surprised, this was the first I'd seen in person. Hopefully means it's hard to fake for a while.
I didn't even know this had been hyped. I know Gary Vee likes the oddball cards but few oddballs really compare in value to the base. Don't know how much garbage food I had to eat to get a bunch of $1 cards.
The guy had the set in a big team bag and a Card Saver 4. I ordered a pack of card saver 3s to sub them individually in.

I picked this one up a few months ago. You know those stories you get when people win an auction or hit a buy it now and say “oh I pocket purchased” or “my 5 year old bought this” and I’ve always thought yeah surrrrrrre.....
I was doing some cleaning up outside, went to get some lunch and pulled my phone out my pocket. “Congratulations, pay now to complete your purchase”
At first I was like no, I didn’t buy that! Then I thought what the hell it was on my watch list for a reason and I didn’t want to make up some story so I just paid for it even if it wasn’t intentional at the time. Never any regrets when you look back a few months later
