Hi everyone! Been a lurker for awhile and finally decided to get an account, really appreciate the feedback and knowledge from the community :)

Have a tough one to value as it rarely shows up. 99-00 Skybox Premium More Good Stuff Kobe Bryant /99. Pics are below. Certainly not a gem but a solid copy, see the photos below. What do you all think? Let me know, thanks!

No clue honestly. It’s going to just take the right buyer who is either:

A) Needing it for the set. I don’t think there are 99 set builders of this set out there FWIW.
B) Needing it for their Kobe collection.

Your range is probably vast on this one and really dependent on what the buyers desire at the time. I’d love this card personally, but I’d pay a different amount depending on what else is available as it’s kind of a “if I ever get one cool, if not it’s not a top desire card of mine either” type of thing. I suspect that’s a lot of collectors with this set.

It doesn’t sell often enough for the flippers to want to grab it because they won’t know if they’re getting a deal or not.

I’m going to guess around $2k. Iverson went a little over $600 and Kobe is the king of the set in value.

Throw it on Ebay and let it ride, I'd definitely bid on it

Thanks for the response! I had a similar feeling – it's a nice one, but isn't ultimately that well-known as a chase card or iconic like Rubies/Legacy (although look similar to a 97-98 Rubies without the pedigree). The right buyer at the right time may be strong on it, but a lot of factors at play. As a Kobe fan myself, I love the card but it's not on my "must have" list, so would potentially look to move it for another I prefer more but wanted to get a gauge on reasonable value.

Thanks. Around $2k I guess covers what I was thinking. On a similar note -- is it generally true across the board that Kobe is 3-4x what AI is with rare 90s inserts, or does it really depend on the set?

Welcome to the forum officially sangkoo. That's an awesome Kobe and I'm in agreement with most of the comments above as its rarely seen.

I PC Kobe so I'd be interested in it which ever route you go, eBay listing, trade, or cash plus trade. I have many 1996-97 Kobe's for trade, if interested send me a PM and we'll go from there.

I would think that’s about right. I have never seen an iverson sell near the amount of a Kobe. I collect iverson some what though and not Kobe. Kobe has always been second after Jordan and all that early 2000s stuff Kobe is on top.
