I'm thinking about buying one of these for my family to rip in a few weeks. Does anyone know much about the difference between the two? I'm a Dirk guy and I think we'd prefer to chase the rookie class over something like a rare Jordan. Price difference doesn't seem to be big enough to truly prefer one for that reason. Any knowledge would be appreciated!
Also if you have any other good ideas for a better box/group of packs for a fun rip around 200-350, feel free to mention it!

Series 2 is the rookies. Series 1 is Jordan and kobe I believe. Series 2 only has a fee jordans total in some of the insert sets

Series 1 has the best insert (Centurions Refractors /75, with Kobe as best player in set) and the Jordan base/ref/no-protector ref. Also has both MJ mystery finest/ref, the one with Kobe and the one with Eddie Jones. Hardcourt Honors is the 1 per box insert and includes mj.
Series 2 has the Kobe base, all rookies, 2 diff Kobe mystery finest, and Court Control Refs /150. Arena Stars the mid tier insert with mj included as well.
Only other set I'm really missing are the Oversized and Oversized refractors, I think the best hit (Kobe) is in series 2. Would make sense since his base is there too.

Thank you both for the intel. That seems about right with the research I had done, just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything important I was missing.
